My self-summary
I've never lived more than an mile inland and have spent most of my life living on islands - being near the water is an integral part of me. I love the beach at dusk, devouring Russian literature, and dancing to Brazilian music in the park. I couldn't imagine living any where else but New York, but I plan to retire in Bali. I'm very close to my family, loyal to friends, and thrive on interactions with all people. When on the subway, I listen to non-English conversations and try to figure out which language is being spoken (amateur eavesdropping, I suppose). I adore the calm before a Florida thunderstorm, the brief minutes before the wind brings the smell of rain, and the oversized drops turn into a torrential downpour - nature's full force released. The sound of cicadas is a soothing reminder of my beautiful childhood. Memories and nostaglia are as important to me as embracing the future. I love to have fun and will never stop traveling.

I am vivacious, warm, kind, and independent.
What I’m doing with my life
Hopefully enriching the world around me, one small kindness at a time. Oh yes, and US immigration.
I’m really good at
Languages, changing my mind, and forgetting about the bad.
The first things people usually notice about me
My eyes, my smile and then hopefully, my heart.

Six things I could never do without
My family, my grandmother's jewelry, my purse, sunshine, my books, good red wine and my Murano collection. Yes, I realize this makes seven...
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Chaos Theory (just kidding). Everything really and certainly whatever has fascinated me at a particular moment. I catch a thought, examine it at every angle, digest it, and then file it appropriately away to be recalled again when the mood strikes me.
On a typical Friday night I am
Recovering from a hectic work week and making last minute weekend plans.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I shop the doorbuster sales at Christmas
You should message me if
