My self-summary
Moved to NYC from Southern California over five years ago for work--finance in Manhattan, how original am I? Should I start telling people I'm a lion tamer at the zoo? NYC has really grown on me...love this city and can't imagine living anywhere else at the moment.

I really like playing piano and tennis. Quite embarrassing that I've actually never played tennis in the city...so I'm probably on par with Federer at this point. Also, I need to keep practicing piano so hopefully I can say that my piano playing abilities did not peak at the age of 11.
What I’m doing with my life
Living the dream in NYC, ha hardly. Can someone remind me what the dream is?
I’m really good at
Being fabulously mediocre at everything. Making OKC profiles that bore even me.
The first things people usually notice about me
Sarcastic wit? Charming? Boyish good looks? Is it possible to answer this positively without sounding like an arrogant ass?
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
The Giving Tree, The Count of Monte Cristo, Les Miserables.

Breaking Bad, Dexter, The Newsroom, How I Met Your Mother, Scrubs (totally underrated, watch it, trust me.), Entourage, Silicon Valley, Californication, Arrested Development, Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Suits, Homeland, Law & Order SVU

(incredible how many law & order re-runs there are...if I pass out on the couch watching tv there is a 20% chance I wake up to law & order...DUN DUN)

Anthony Bourdain Parts Unknown Iran (super insightful and interesting, but also very depressing)

Belle (went to the premiere in NYC, best movie I've seen in longer than I can remember, seriously I really think this is an incredible movie. It depicts justice in both law and love in a very unique fashion and I urge you to see it and message me to discuss!)

Wedding Crashers, Rounders, Dark Knight, Momento, Beverly Hills Cop, Coming to America, Mrs. Doubtfire, American Psycho, The Departed, Gladiator, The Big Lebowski, Good Will Hunting, Bourne Identity, and many more

Sam Smith, Death Cab, Sufjan Stevens, Joshua Radin, Drake, Rae Sremmurd, Kid Ink, Zero 7, Shins, Elliott Smith, Weezer, Snow Patrol, Coldplay, Childish Gambino, Notorious BIG, ma$e, calvin harris, Biggy, The Weeknd, deadmau5 etc.. I listen to basically everything except country.

Mexican, Sushi, Italian, everything (I'm a pig).
Six things I could never do without
Existential Thoughts (at 4am)
Tempurpedic Mattress (amazing.)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
That there are 8 million people crammed into this tiny city, all practically running into each other when they walk around, yet I'm on OKC.

What would happen if everybody just acted solely on Freud's idea of the id.

The meaning of life.

If I should try Bikram Yoga...because I really want to but worried I might not be allowed to leave during class and I may just die on my yoga mat.

Whether people on here actually read messages / profiles or decide whether to message or message back solely from pictures.
On a typical Friday night I am
Out to dinner with a few friends...probably some drinks in the east or west village after that
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I literally can't stop listening to Ariana Grande and Bieber, but I feel like Bieber is becoming okay to listen to? Or maybe I'm just telling myself that.

These are lame, I realize that...you realize that...but seriously how much are we going to divulge on here to complete strangers and the entire world?

I am fiercely competitive....perhaps I will divulge more private information after a few drinks.
You should message me if
I got you to laugh once while reading my profile...chuckle...smile.

Obviously if you want to meet me, sending a message would probably be a good start.

You'd like to have a nice chat over a glass of wine and maybe some cheese.
