My self-summary
Old soul/young heart, queer, thinly-censored, intersectional thinker, ethical hedonist, poly, artist, healer. Cuddle monster.

I love challenging creative endeavors, showering my friends with love and good cookin', and discovering paradigms that supplant systems of oppression. My heart throbs for art that surrounds and engages the body: modern dance, esoteric art installations, beautiful architecture, period set designs and costumes, inspired cinematography. That's if a beautiful forest, cave, or mountain is not accessible.

Botany. Fractals. Energy medicine. Comedy. Critical Theory. Disability rights. Film. English bulldogs.

I like 'em all, femmes and androgynous folks, big and small, just gotta have sincerity to sweep me off my feet. I date cis men (met irl) once in a purple moon.

I Live in San Diego and looking to move to LA.
What I’m doing with my life
Shaman. I study energy medicine-- Reiki and other forms. I'm also a writer. I study medicine, meditation, herbal concoctions, Capitalism's scheme turn suffering into profit ( and how to resist!) and finding humor in everything!

I'm using my experience with chronic pain to create a dark comedic web series. I am always looking for collaborators, people with stories to share, and skills to contribute!
I’m really good at
Dry wit, appreciating ritual, imagining traveling to Peru, homemaking like it's 1959. Empathy. Midwestern foraging. Identifying ceramic glazing and construction and firing techniques.
The first things people usually notice about me
I have good posture.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: I am slowly slaughtering the task that is understanding and appreciating James Joyce's Ulysses. It's a multistage process. I am reading the book 1st by audiobook, then following each chapter with critiques, then re-reading the book for the lyrical rubies. He's a genius. He is an asshole. He is the Kanye West of his time and genre.

Movies/TV: i'm binge watching Anthony Bourdain's travel shows. He is far less of a genius then James Joyce, but I think they would definitely enjoy getting drunk together. I am interested in developing my art film knowledge.especially directors with a strong leftist bent. The Fish Child, The Life and Death of Peter Sellers, Water Lillies, Nymphomania, The Salt of the Earth, Mishima: A Life in Four Chapters, The Lives of Others, A Bit of Fry and Laurie, The (British) Office, Mad Men, Carnivale, Louie, Archer (season 1-3), Adventure Time, Broad City (pre-Hillary Clinton endorsement) Inside Amy Schumer.

Music: Fela Kuti, Feist, David Bowie, T.Rex, M83, Aretha Franklin, Diggable Planets, Phillip Glass, Mozart, Lauryn Hill, Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings, Chvrches, Charles Mingus

Food: I miss gluten. I mean my digestive system doesn't, but if you can make me a gluten-free croissant, I will certainly put out. Succulent stinky cheeses, glowing multicolored tomatoes, Korean barbecue, The sausages of the world. All the warming spices of Ayurvedic cuisine.
The six things I could never do without
Acupuncture.
Cafes.
Bright lipstick.
Excellently-crafted handmade mugs.
Ethical slutitude.
The dog park. (If you have a dog, I will go out with you at least once. but said dog must be present)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
--How political problems become interpersonal problems.
--What is healing?
--How is empathy created and accessed in the brain?
-- How to say things in Spanish.
--how to get into the creation zone. Where your brain turns off and some new wonderful force takes over.
--how to hack into mainstream media with critical Theory
On a typical Friday night I am
Meeting up with friends. Finding their chickens and Trying to convince them to love me through treats and cuddles.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I often feel like my life was written by Kafka. Or Sartre.
You should message me if
I don't believe in finding "the one." I believe a healthy life contains a full community of people, who you are intimate with in whatever way you choose. That said, I am looking for real intimacy and commitment in a " primary " relationship.

I like friends!! I treat them so nice!!
