My self-summary
Hello! I'm a person of not many words. I'm a huge geek, and I love life. I'm not entirely sure what I'm looking for but I'll give anything a shot. I try to always be the optimist, and I like making sure everyone is happy. I'm quite an introvert, and if you don't think it too pseudo-scientific, I'm of the INTP personality type. I have a passion for knowledge, and specially for the hard sciences, specifically physics and astronomy. These two things form the basis of my personal belief system (if you can call it that).
What I’m doing with my life
In my day job and at times primary hobby, I'm a systems administrator. I love building computer systems and making them work together. I know probably a little too much about the Internet, and have a little part of it in my basement.

In the rest of my time, I'm a part-time musician and composer, and I enjoy biking and walking through forests, reading, and enjoying a good episode of a quality serial drama.
I’m really good at
System Administration is probably #1, since it pays the bills and I enjoy it. I've been told I'm quite a bassist and composer but I'm a little too much of a perfectionist to believe them. I can carry on a very long conversation about almost anything. I'm a very quick study.
The first things people usually notice about me
One can often hear me across the room, for better or worse! Also my beard garners a lot of attention these days.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: I love to read, but not fiction. I still enjoy Harry Potter, the Lord of the Rings, Dexter, and anything technical or sci-fi/fantasy.

Movies: A bit of everything, with a soft spot for Disney movies.

Shows: Star Trek (all of them), Stargate, Futurama, Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, Scrubs, Murdoch Mysteries, Burn Notice, and many more!

Music: Literally everything. But I spend most of my time listening to Romantic-era Western Classical, Bebop Jazz, Progressive Rock, and various forms of Metal.

Food: I'm a fairly picky eater, and I'm a huge fan of good ol' Pizza.
Six things I could never do without
A computer
An Internet connection
My music collection
A bass or Keyboard
A screwdriver
A Bike
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Life, the universe, and everything. I love big philosophical conversations.
On a typical Friday night I am
Chilling by myself or with friends, maybe drinking, definitely toking, just enjoying life and the conversation. I like to be spontaneous with plans so whatever happens happens!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
At the age of 4 (Junior Kindergarten) I was in my elementary school's Grade 8 science fair with my light bulb collection. Hand-painted picture of Joseph Swan too. 4th place.
You should message me if
You want to have a conversation and get to know an strange and interesting guy.
