My self-summary
I'm Diego, nice to meet you.
What I’m doing with my life
"I'm learning real skills that I can apply throughout the rest of my life: procrastinating and rationalizing."
I’m really good at
Making a dinner out of nothing and assembling IKEA furniture.
Also, crosswords and knowing random facts about useless things.
The first things people usually notice about me
"Hey! You are tall! And you come from Peru! How is that possible?!"
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Cortazar, Borges, Sabato, Hemingway, Bryce, Garcia Marquez, Benedetti and an assortment of books about history or physics (or science in general).

Los Amantes del Circulo Polar, Barry Lyndon, Casablanca, Dr. Strangelove, Mononoke-hime, Rushmore, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind, Star Wars, Match Point, The Princess Bride, and anything by Paul Thomas Anderson. Also, I'm one of those who loved Cloud Atlas and enjoyed John Carter.

Seinfeld, Arrested Development, Doctor Who, Firefly, Breaking Bad, Adventure Time, Mad Men, Downton Abbey, Cosmos, Community, Louie, Futurama, The Colbert Report and The Daily Show.

Beatles, Radiohead, Neutral Milk Hotel, Daniel Johnston, Velvet Underground, Talking Heads, Elliott Smith, Pixies, Belle and Sebastian, David Bowie, Nick Cave, Simon Joyner, Pink Floyd, Emmy the Great, Avett Brothers, Cat Power, Okkervil River, Sparklehorse, Chopin and Debussy.

Everything except melon and watermelon. Also, If you want to win my heart, get me some sushi.
Six things I could never do without
Glasses/contacts. It's horrible trying to move when you are blind. And a towel, of course. Never leave home without one!
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
When I was 3, I used to think that the moon was a reflection of the earth in the sky, and if I focused my eyes enough, I could see myself in it. All this because in Spanish "luna" means both "moon" and "glass", so the connection with the word "mirror" wasn't that hard to make for me.
You should message me if
You want to!
One more thing: It says here that I'm looking for people just "Near me", but it's like that just so those who are actually "Near me" appear first in my search results. I actually enjoy meeting people from everywhere, the farther away the better (I'm talking to you, girl from the Faroe Islands).
The two of us
