I'd rather walk than drive. I'd rather stand than sit. I'd rather sit on the floor than on a couch. But really I'd rather be dancing.
Note: I'm in a wonderfully loving and healthy open relationship. I'm on here looking to make more connections (maybe sexual, maybe not), have adventures with interesting folks, and see where things go.
1) Playing and producing music. My main music squeeze the past few years has been playing weddings and private events, though I always have a handful of creative projects going on too.
2) Heath and fitness training as a "corrective exercise specialist", helping folks recover from injury, improve their quality of movement, and really just getting comfortable in their body.
Other things I'm doing with my life:
*Raising a dog
*Tap dancing, a lot
*Spending time outdoors
*Chasing after the perfect handstand
-Jumping rope (jump roping?)
-Themed costume parties
-Giving and receiving massages (I have a massage table!)
-Cheating at Monopoly
-Wearing bright colors and loud patterns
-Inadvertently/advertently changing and redefining myself every few years.
Right now - C2C, Breaks Co-Op, Lil Wayne, Neko Case, The Delfonics, The Books, Gary Clark Jr.
I no longer watch television. I've evolved past it and am better than people who still watch television. I do however watch Netflix. Arrested Development, Mad Men, Freaks and Geeks, Battlestar Galactica, UK Office, The Wonder Years, Breaking Bad, etc. Jeopardy Jeopardy Jeopardy.
Bill Murray. Woody Allen. My Cousin Vinny, Killer Clowns From Outer Space, Twins. Bad 90s movies, indie films, comedies in general. I like some good movies too.
This American Life, The Moth, Stuff You Should Know, Savage Love, Intelligence Squared, Wait Wait Don't Tell Me.
Most standup comedy. Especially bad live standup.
Local food is the best. Mayonnaise is the worst.
Juicer or blender
Also, Michael Bolton's "When A Man Loves A Woman" routinely gets stuck in my head. No idea why.
I'm actually somewhere in between 5'10 and 5'11. I lied on my OkCupid profile.
I don't keep many things private.
-enjoy clever conversation, karaoke, or coffee.
-want to go to a show, a Moth story slam, standup comedy, or need an acro partner.
-are the gatekeeper, for I am the keymaster and have been looking for you for quite some time now.
