My self-summary
Hello, there! I'm a just a nerdy girl, living in a geeeeky world... oops, hope I didn't crack any glass :) I have a quirky/goofy/witty/dark sense of humor, and I enjoy being around people who make me laugh. Or people who make me think. Or people who make me food. Wait, how'd that get in there?! I love geeking out and getting excited/obsessed over things I'm into. If you were to ask me if I'm right-brained or left-brained, I would tell you that I'm both! I love the logic and learning and feeling and expression of life, equally.
What I’m doing with my life
Currently finishing up my bachelor's in nursing. And somehow still both alive AND sane after the first two years. But the second half of the degree is proving to be way less intense. On the personal side, I have many hobbies that I sort of rotate through as I feel like it. I've done photography, bellydance, learning Japanese, crochet, writing, bass playing, world domination -wait, how'd that get in there?! Also, trying to make each day better than the last, little by little...
I’m really good at
Getting reaaaaalllllyyyy into something and being super focused on learning about it/doing it well. And then being able to drop it without any regrets ;)

Cooking pasta al dente.
The first things people usually notice about me
I would say, my laugh? Maybe? My shortness? Or my tallness? (It's all a matter of perspective, isn't it?)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
OMG anyone else obsessed with Stranger Things right now? Is it really weird to get super excited over rotary phones and bunny ears? The magic technology of the 80's... What else... Happy Valley, Bojack Horseman, Bobs Burgers, Vikings. Breaking Bad, The IT Crowd, Green Wing, some Walking Dead, Sherlock. Huge anime/manga fan -Attack on Titan, Space Brothers, Death Note, Yona of the Dawn

The Dark Knight is one of my favorite movies. No Country for Old Men, Fight Club, The Usual Suspects, Star Wars trilogy, The Matrix. Enjoyed The Force Awakens, as well. Historical stuff. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. Indie movies. Donnie Darko, NightCrawler. Yep. My taste in movies can run daaark.

Currently reading Skellig. As far as books, it's mostly speculative fiction for me. Mainly fantasy. An unabashed Game of Thrones fan. Those books are just on another level, entirely. LOTR. Dark Places. Read a lot of Stephen King when I was a kid. The Ender series. Historical fiction. Jane Eyre! She just gets an exclamation point, ok?

In my past life, I was a gamer. So if you ever played/enjoyed Xenosaga, then omg (or Tomb Raider) (or had an Atari and know the pain that was the Smurfs game...)

I'm skipping the rest! Brownie points if you got this far?
The six things I could never do without
Stories. Pretty colors. Cold water. Silliness. Enigma. Self-reflection.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
I'm on a break from thinking. Leave me alone.
On a typical Friday night I am
Hopefully enjoying time with my friends.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
When I was little, I used to be afraid of the sound of the toilet flushing, so I would flush and run...
You should message me if
