My self-summary
****Seeking awesome people who like coffee shops, bike adventures, beer banter, geek club, learning how others navigate poly or open relationships, and puppy play dates****

As a self proclaimed weirdo, I'm quirky and fluent in sarcasm. I embrace nerdiness wholeheartedly. I grew up on the beach. Originally from California, the ocean is my oasis, I'm happiest floating in the waves, but my new favorite thing is spending powder days flying through the trees. I believe in stringing together life's happy moments --IPAs or wine on warm summer nights, eating dessert first, uncontrollable laughter, and playful smiles shared with strangers. Not much makes me happier than a fixie bike under city lights.
What I’m doing with my life
Training my nervous pup to be a model citizen, riding bikes, mulling over grad school, and seeking adventures. Pulling trends out of behavior like a true behavior analyst. Teaching myself new fun skills 20 hours at a time.
I’m really good at
I was once called a poised badass and that my my calm demeanor could diffuse an international hostage situation. I'm also great at massages, task lists, connecting with new or single serving friends, and turning down social plans to cuddle in bed with my pup and a good book
The first things people usually notice about me
Ideally, my stunningly good looks ;) or my speedy green bicycle, but probably my mermaid-like hair and giant ex-rower/swimmer shoulders
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books are my favorite! Especially DDC 300s as 600s. A Wrinkle in Time, Girl with a Dragon Tattoo, Redefining Realness, Hemingway, Catch 22, C.S. Lewis, and Great Gatsby, The Giver, obviously, Harry Potter, The Emperor of Scent, The Power of Habit, Malcolm Gladwell, Mary Roach, Andrea Gibson. I'm part of non-fiction and queer book clubs. It is fucking fantastic.

TV/ Movies: I will watch anyone flip a house, sell antiques, or survive in nature. Netflix gets me-- documentaries, TedTalks, indie, sci-fi, spoof horror movies, House of Cards, Mad Men, Broad City, Kimmy Schmidt, Daria, Stranger Things, West Wing, Daily Show, OITNB. Pulp Fiction, Secretary, Amelie, Fight Club, Dope, Shaun of the Dead, Kill Bill, LOTR, Grandma's Boy, Tank Girl, Hot Fuzz, and Little Miss Sunshine.

Music: City and Color, Purity Ring, Lemonade, Regina Spektor, Jurassic 5, 90s Hip Hop, Die Antword, Hamilton, Miley Cyrus backyard sessions, Miles Davis and way more than I can list here. My goal this year is to upload a video of myself playing my ukulele on YouTube.

I've been paleo, vegan, and a foodie. I'm less into rules now. I pair everything with a grapefruit and eat it on top of spinach. But, I love-- yellow curry, caprese salad, rosemary garlic fries, lumpia, late night feasts, homemade pizza, and eating all the fresh fruit from the farmers market in one sitting.
Six things I could never do without
My bikes, intelligent conversation, sarcasism, bodies of water, my crazy family, power play, my paddling community, and Autostraddle
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Social behavior, body language, which friends would LOVE eat other, vivid storytelling, distant countries, finding life balance, and girls on bikes
On a typical Friday night I am
Spending time with friends or drinking bourbon or IPAs and eating Ethiopian food while watching quirky indie movies... while fighting for couch space with 1-3 pets, at any given time.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I absolutely can't wink for my life. I try so hard sometimes... but I just can't. It's pretty comical.
You should message me if
Be my friend. I'm awesome.

Want to go on a coffee date?? Message me. I'm always looking for new friendly faces in Denver.

Bonus points: bikes, nerds, musicians, or exciting storytellers
