My self-summary
I'm 28 years old and a phd student at UvA. I'm originally from Amsterdam and as an immigrant concern myself with attempting to more fully understand the American psyche and trying to answer such important cultural questions as "Larry the cable guy? Why?".
What I’m doing with my life
Due to my studies I spend most of my time being professionally boring but in my spare time I like to listen to music, watch movies, read, swim, or hang out with friends.
I’m really good at
Political sciencing. Also, I seem to be fairly decent in making people laugh...
The first things people usually notice about me
I have no clue, ask those who meet me for the first time.

FOOD: quite a lot, but most of all Italian.
Six things I could never do without
in random order: The Daily Show w. Jon Stewart, my ipod, What it Takes by Richard Ben Cramer, my friends, Zucchero music, [unidentified other thing - possibly lasagna].
I spend a lot of time thinking about
politics, the influence of Vice-Presidential selections on elections, the history of the presidential primaries, how to get the gay community to start getting more active in lobbying Congress.

Oh, and; "Really? Larry the cable guy? .... REALLY?"
On a typical Friday night I am
on a good night: hanging with friends.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
So, this one time I [REDACTED].
You should message me if
You're up for a chat, getting a drink, or explaining the concept of Larry the cable guy to me.
