My self-summary
It has been a while since I updated this and thought it was time for an update.

This is always the tough part, I suppose that is why so many say they are no good at it.

Overall I am a pretty easy going and generally positive person. I try not to worry about the things I can't change and focus on where I have the most effect. When I feel like things are not going well I realize I have it better than most. I have a good career. Own my house. My own car. Have a small but good circle of friends and family that care for me. That right there is enough to put me in a pretty good place. I often say I don't want for anything I need, only things I would like.

All that said I would like to find someone to welcome into my life. It would probably be best if they have a fondness for geeks, even better if they are a bit of one themselves. It may also work out well if you know how to be assertive at least some of the time. I don't really ask for a lot and I can find the good in most people. I may be a bias source but if you ask me I am a pretty great guy to know.
What I’m doing with my life
The biggest thing is work. Last year I bought a motorcycle so I have been enjoying that. I need to get a little more active but could use someone to explore with.
I’m really good at
The first things people usually notice about me
My bald head and beard probably. Been told my eyes as well.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
A Song of Ice and Fire (A Game of Thrones), Hitchhikers Guide, Enders Game, and most Sci-fi and fantasy books.

Dr. Strangelove, Highlander, Tombstone, Pulp Fiction, Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, and Sci-fi / action generally.

Star Trek, Battlestar Galactica, How I Met Your Mother, Big Bang Theory, Survivor, Star Gate, Game of Thrones, Dexter, Breaking Bad

Puscifer, Cake, The Killers, and alternative/modern rock and 90's music. Anything but rap and country in most cases.

Steak, Crab, Pizza, and good beer. Sadly most don't fit my diet well.
Six things I could never do without
My family, my phone, my dogs, a car, air, food.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
On a typical Friday night I am
Table top gaming.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I am a lot more open then you would think looking at me. I would at least try most things and may seek to do many surprising things.
You should message me if
You are looking for a laid back, geeky, friendly guy looking for some adventure.
