My self-summary
Back after a three year hiatus, I suppose. I'm also not evil, just used to live there when I started the account.

Outdoorsy workaholic who loves music, loves to dance. INFP.
What I’m doing with my life
Lawyering. Seeing the mountains on foot.
I’m really good at
Snowboarding, yoga, cycling, cooking, logic and reason, self-awareness, independence, being strong and overcoming a challenge. I've also been known, in the past, to be an excellent rock climber.
The first things people usually notice about me
My smile and small stature.

My latina doppelgängers.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: Thinking Fast and Slow, Lonesome Dove, Tom Robbins, The Sun Also Rises, Guns Germs and Steel, A Moveable Feast, The Phantom Tollbooth

Magazines: Economist, NatGeo

Movies: Annie Hall, Dazed and Confused, Spy Games, Wes Anderson

Music: Gillian Welch, Edie Brickell, Lake Street Dive, Dead Winters Carpenters, Nightmares on Wax, Neil Young, the Allman Brothers, the Roots, Brass bands, generally, LCD Soundsystem.

I don't really watch TV, and I mean this. People have tried to engage me in conversations about shows and pop culture, and I have no clue what anyone is talking about. Girls and Game of Thrones (mostly because I absolutely love the books) are guilty pleasures when I find time for a little break.

Food: bring on the spicy, preferably in an Asian or form.
The six things I could never do without
adventures, family, friends, wilderness, my flannel, kindle.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Quantum mechanics.
Whether astrology is real.
What this round of life is about.
Tao te Ching and the beginner's mind.
Freedom of the Hills.
My next adventure.
On a typical Friday night I am
No such thing.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I help moms in the subway carry the stroller up the stairs, since I had a single mom and I know how hard this task can be with a screaming child. Chivalry shouldn't be reserved exclusively for men.

This is outdated and made more sense in New York...I think it warrants being kept.

I am also an open book once you get to know me though I don't like airing my dirty laundry on the Internet (case in point, I do not have Facebook or Instagram or anything else). I may live in tech central, but I miss slow paced life, when there were no text messages, no internet and it was easier to be still.
You should message me if
You have it together and know how to treat a woman like a lady.

You're looking for someone with whom you can share slow, lazy mornings and outdoor adventure.

Please don't message me if you're still at a point in your life where you don't communicate well, don't know how to support your partner's success and dreams or are possessive.
