My self-summary
Adventurous, curious, sarcastic, atheist, romantic, elegant, sophisticated, kinky (not vanilla!), ambitious, dreamer.

I've lived many places - Vermont, Washington (state), Montana, Austria 🇦🇹 - but have surprisingly landed back in New England.

I can spend hours or sometimes days exploring the most beautiful outdoor places I can find. I spend time exploring the finer side of drinking and dining. I want all of the best experiences in this world.

If your profile contains the phrase "I don't take life too seriously" I don't take you seriously, please move on.
What I’m doing with my life
Building a food business. Ask for more details.
I’m really good at
Conversing, criticizing, getting lost in the woods (on purpose), choosing wine, fermenting everything, cooking delicious food.
The first things people usually notice about me
That I look like James Spader.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: Guns Germs and Steel (Jared Diamond), Botany of Desire (Michael Pollan), The Elegant Universe (Brian Greene), Fierce Invalids Home From Hot Climates (Tom Robbins), The Art of Fermentation (Sandor Ellix Katz), The Demon-Haunted World (Carl Sagan)

Movies: Capote, Milk, Blackfish, Religilous, Life of Brian, Life Aquatic, Amelie, Gasland, American Beauty, Chasing Ice, City of God, Jesus Camp, Fargo, Kumare, Inequality For All

Shows: Daily Show, Colbert, Bill Maher, Downton Abbey, Office, Last Week Tonight, Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul, Lost, House of Cards, Cosmos, Arrested Development

Music: Tallest Man on Earth, Bonobo, Gramatik, Kings of Convenience, St. Vincent, Florence and the Machine, Beck, Iron and Wine, Cults, Tennis, Chairlift...

Food: Open to everything, I like to eat healthy, and foray into elegantly prepared dining, and Sunday Brunch with a Bloody Mary is one of my favorite parts of the week, and I cook - All. The. Time. And I'm specifically focused on learning traditional Oaxacan cuisine right now.
Six things I could never do without
Good Food
Good Company
Good music
My hiking gear
My Bicycle (Edit: It was stolen recently!!!:(...)
My computer
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The size of the Universe, finding life on Europa (a moon of Jupiter with an ocean), social justice and equality, cooking projects, places in the world to see, politics, climate change, and how beautiful and fucked up the world is. Why I live in New England.
On a typical Friday night I am
Making dinner with friends and drinking wine, reading a book, seeing my brother play somewhere in Boston, or trying not to stay up too late because I have to get up for a market in the morning.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I really want to sing in a grunge rock cover band.
You should message me if
Any reason really, but especially if you might be interested in learning to ballroom dance with someone.
