My self-summary
The only decision to make on a first date is whether or not you'd like a second one. Let's take the pressure off. Of course I ultimately want more, but I'd be happy with just dinner and a movie for right now.

Very affectionate, tender guy here, major cuddler, drug-free, don't drink (social drinkers are okay by me but I don't go to bars for fun), disease-free and seeking the same. I am looking for a possible (read: possible) LTR that begins as friends first. Definitely looking to date first and want to take pleasure in getting to know you. You can't will love to happen like some instant microwave treat (reality can be so irritating). Believe me, I've tried.

Short of instantaneous love-everlasting, I am looking for a nice, respectful guy to be friends with, have fun with, go to the movies with (hold hands?), etc. I am no angel. But I try to be a good boy :)

I work out with a trainer 2x a week and I try to eat organic as much as possible. I'm enjoying living healthier.

I love my Manhattan life and my independence. Read: I do not dream of one day co-habitating with someone in the suburbs or adopting kids. But I also want to make room for a special someone to share good times with.

I am affectionate, irreverent, and playful
What I’m doing with my life
I am a graphic design freelancer specializing in multimedia presentations. Recently I have been embracing a "pescatarian" lifestyle and it feels good. Vegans will still insist that I am in league with Satan but I do the best I can. I try to get out of the city for short little trips as much as possible.
I’m really good at
Kissing, laughing, cuddling, singing, computers, eating, relaxing, going to the gym (a new passion). Conversely I am really bad at bar hopping, hiking, camping, sweating (unless at the gym with AC blasting).
The first things people usually notice about me
That I am kind, funny, hip (but not tragically so), honest, real, sincere, warm brown eyes, very muscular legs in shorts.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
books: I am a big fan of Augustin Burroughs, Anne Rice (the vampire and witch books), Stephen King, Dan Brown, Michael Crichton, Chuck Palahniuk, Douglass Preston & Lincoln Child.

movies: john waters, trey parker & matt stone, woody allen, tim burton, david cronenberg, russ meyer, todd solondz, stanley kubrick. i think the exorcist is simultaneously the scariest and funniest movie ever made (no, i am not especially into the occult). i love a good psychological horror-thriller (not fear-of-dismemberment horror) and a good comedy.

music: punk/alternative mostly, like morrissey/smiths/siouxsie/70s bowie/buzzcocks/costello/devo/the jam/the pretenders/kate bush/tori amos/blondie/hole/nirvana/70s queen and other groovy tunes.

food: indian, mexican, thai, sashimi
Six things I could never do without
my iPhone,
my iMac (well now it's an Macbook Air),
my iWeiner,
my DVDs,
my mojo
I spend a lot of time thinking about
I spend alot of time contemplating my navel. It is a fascinating piece of work.
On a typical Friday night I am
going out to dinner and a movie, and, if I'm lucky, I'm doing this with someone else on a date (I've done it alone more than I'd care to admit)
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Well it's not so private, but it's sometimes embarrassing: I am major sap and I cry over even the most ridiculously sentimental movies and TV shows. But in all other ways I prefer to do manly things in a manly way with other manly men. But seriously, I am glad that I have my emotions and I am not shut down. And I LOVE to laugh too! :)
You should message me if
you liked most of what you read here :)
