My self-summary
I just moved to D.C. for work after living in Minneapolis for several years, and I'm very excited to be here. Over the last decade or so, I've lived all over the United States. I'm looking to finally stay put for longer than the average tenure of an NFL head coach. I grew up in Colorado, so the outdoors are in my blood and I try to get out as much as possible. In the spring and summer that usually means biking and hiking. In the winter, I ski. I'm looking for someone who is down-to-earth and passionate about things that I don't understand but would like to. A sharp wit, smarts, and a love of the outdoors are also nice!
What I’m doing with my life
I just moved to D.C and will be lawyering when I'm not exploring my new home town or visiting my brother and nieces and nephews in New York.
The first things people usually notice about me
I really wish I knew!
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: Winter's Tale, On Bullfighting, The Lost, Young Men and Fire, Orphans Essays, The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay,

Music: Neko Case, Bonnie Prince Billy, Animal Collective, M. Ward, Abe Vigoda, Andrew Bird, Bob Dylan, Crystal Stilts, Pavement, Beirut, The Ex, The Nation. You probably get the picture.

Movies: Mystery Alaska, The Barbarian Invasions, High Fidelity, Groundhog Day

Food: Italian, Mediterranean, Sushi, really, just about every type of food I've ever eaten with one exception: guinea pig. Other than small rodents, I love to eat.
Six things I could never do without
good food, my bicycle, my record collection, my family, something to read, good people to talk to
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Traveling to beautiful places to hike or eat or bike or rock climb.
On a typical Friday night I am
Out with friends at a bar, enjoying dinner parties, catching the occasionally play or movie, and generally enjoying myself.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I think Ethiopian food is overrated, particularly the spongy flat bread.
