Click here for a video questionnaire, wherein I talk about myself for over half an hour so that people from my online typology group can assess my personality.
If that sounds tiresome, I have written a very long profile for you to read instead:
I would say I'm a rather alien/abnormal/unusual/idiosyncratic sort of person. In fact there is little about me that I can say is normal other than my chromosome count... I think.
I am a philosopher, actor, singer, film-maker, socionist and HTML geek extraordinaire! Someday I will also be an occupational psychologist.
My favourite activities include talking about myself, listening to classical music/opera, performing arts, browsing Wikipedia and going wherever the interesting buttons take me, bursting into song at inappropriate moments, entering into heated debates and niggling both sides with a smugly calm (calmly smug?) look on my face. Above all, I have an obsession with a personality system called Socionics and WILL analyse you from the moment you start talking to me. I WON'T ever judge you though.
I possess a very broad sense of humour, in that I tend to see the funny side of just about everything. If something is considered 'not funny' today, I am confident it will become funny in the years to come as society progresses. Currently, I like to joke about circumcision... people actually laugh, amazingly.
I also possess either a very long temper or a very short temper that I lost once and could never find again. Suffice to say, there are no existing records of me being angry. If you find such a record, you should put it in a museum, next to my lost foreskin.
I am quite interested in politics, mostly in terms of looking at the usual arguments and tutting. I am a 'freegalitarian' (a mixture of egalitarian, libertarian and humanist views). Suffice to say, I prioritise people's personal liberties, including their right to ownership and self-ownership without being coerced by others. I prioritise equality i.e. meritocracy regardless of race, sex or sexuality and refraining from favouring one group over another in any ruling or legal structure. I prioritise rational and empirically-informed arguments, rather than buying into a particular ideology or narrative just because people tell me to.
If you disagree with any of my political views, I won't hate you. If you hate me for any of my political views, I will laugh at you, but still won't hate you. If you message me about my political views, I will respond in friendly debate mode.
I have taken many personality assessments over the years. The results have been compiled below...
For the Psychometrics and Astrology (I don't hold much weight in Star Signs but meh...) buffs out there, I am Sanguine, 100% Open, 4% Conscientious, 93% Extraverted, 15% Agreeable, 0% Neurotic, SCUEI, 7w8-8w7-3w4 sp/sx ENTP, Intuitive-Logical Extrovert (ILE) and have a score of 32 on the NPI and 30 on the PCL-R while possessing a Chaotic Evil alignment in Dungeons and Dragons. I also have a Verbal IQ in the 99.9th percentile and a Performance IQ in the 78th percentile. Overall, it has been estimated as 165, but as I do Psychology, I have learned to treat that result with a healthy dose of scepticism. Nevertheless, I like saying I have an IQ of 165 because it makes me look clever and conceited.
Perhaps the most important of these to me is being an Intuitive-Logical Extrovert in a theory called Socionics. It's a theory of personality and social dynamics that I am trying to make more well known in the West. The type profiles also describe me pretty well.
More recently, I have been doing my second masters in Occupational Psychology. This is the field I would like to work in.
Most importantly, I have been busy as the President of World Socionics Society, an online community with various offline chapters that discusses, theorises and researches my favourite personality theory. I also interview and analyse people for money.
However, details, day to day things, practical tasks and the like are draining for me. I can often forget to eat or sleep because I'm up doing interesting things. Self-discipline is something lacking too. I procrastinate and focus on the interesting, neglecting the boring. However, if you find a way to make me more comfortable, well-fed or experience physical pleasure in any form, I will be eating out of the palm of your hand.
I'm GOOD with systems and structures, understanding how things work, naturally analysing and making sense of the things around me. If you give me a problem to solve, I'll come up with a solution other people haven't thought of. I also can explain complex things to people in concise ways that they can understand.
However, I am quite hopeless at subjective evaluations. If you ask me what something is, I'll tell you all about it, but if you ask me if I like it, I'll not have a clue. In the same way, I tend to be very open and friendly to a lot of people without ever asking myself if I like them as a person. In general avoid such judgements. I'm not as good at instinctively knowing how other people are feeling towards me without them saying so, or knowing who I should trust and who I should not. I might also say inappropriate things even with the best intentions.
The MOST IMPORTANT thing to keep in mind about me is that I am a very public and open person who enjoys sharing information with other people and have no idea what you will want to keep private about yourself when talking to me. If you tell me something, I won't just assume it is 'between us'. Let me know and that will avoid future problems for both of us.

Friday night is usually the family night of the week with all its usual bickering. Occasionally I get to escape though.
Other times, I go out to parties or clubbing with my friends and challenge other people to dancing duels resulting in me nearly being thrown out the club. I don't actually like clubbing and prefer it in once-a-year doses.
