My self-summary
To paraphrase the great Kermit the Frog, “I’ve got a dream, and it’s about...making people happy…and that’s the kind of dream that gets better the more people you share it with.”
And that’s where you come in gentle reader. Yes you.
You see, having been influenced by the likes of that little green Muppet I left my home in DC and traveled to the big city of LA to follow my dream of becoming an animator. And as with the green one, the dream has gotten better and better the more people I’ve shared it with. So, hear I sit, telling myself that the only thing really missing now is a true partner in crime. Someone to be there getting into the thick trouble with me.

I am Energetic, Enthusiastic, and Creative
What I’m doing with my life
I am currently working for a small non profit film company. They have a wonderful philosophy of trying to elevate the human spirit which makes me very excited to be there. Not doing any animation for them at the moment, but there is a good chance I will be in the near future, so I’m pretty happy about that too.
I’m really good at
Explaining to people about my heaping amounts of modesty. Oh yes, I could type volumes about that. And did I mention my sarcasm?
Seriously though, I’m an incredible friend. I am the kind of guy who will be there for his friends trough thick and thin, no matter what.
The first things people usually notice about me
My heaping amounts of energy. I’m kind of akin to the energizer bunny. Don’t be surprised if I keep going long after you’ve worn out. I’m just saying.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
There are WAY too many to name so I will just name a fewto give you an idea:

The Velveteen Rabbit, The Annotated Dracula (with an introduction by Neil Gaiman), Bill Bryson’s: Down Under, The Undead and Philosphy.
Gladiator, Pollyanna, Star Wars, Singing in the Rain (Best Sci Fi film ever), Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, and Serentity.
Six things I could never do without
1) Paint brushes, pixels, pencils, paint: anything and everything I can use to create with. The fact that they all start with a “P” is an added bonus.
2) Friends and Family
3) The LAPL & NPR
4) Trees
5) My comic books
6) The internet
I spend a lot of time thinking about
A small handful of pet social justicey related issues. More importantly I think about how to make these things as entertaining as possible so as not to come off sounding all pretentious-like.
On a typical Friday night I am
Take your pick, I could be going to see a friend sing in a choral concert, hanging out at Disneyland, or doing any other variety of random fun events.
But most likely I’m at home drawing, painting, or working on any other number of projects that I am trying to finish.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Have a personal theory about why laundry night can be the best Date experience ever. If you want to know why send me a message and I’ll explain it.
You should message me if
You are an artist or love the arts and anyone involved in the arts. This includes just about all forms of artistic expression: music, theater, literature, movies of course any of the visual arts.
