My self-summary
I am from NY originally, moved to San Antonio almost 8 years ago to be closer to family and for a new job (read: career), and now I am looking for the someone special to share the ride with. I have a great job working in aviation and love what I do.I have a 18 year old son in my hometown in NY. I fly home several times a year to visit him, my friends and other family.
I grew up in the mountains, so if you are a fan of hiking and camping, I am your man. I have a boat load of camping gear just waiting to be used. I used to camp in AZ all the time and really haven't had much time to go since I moved to TX. All I need though is a good excuse and a cool person to go with and we are outta here!!

I had a cover band in AZ and am a huge fan of 90's and today's alt rock and progessive rock. Let's see... some examples.. here we go: Stone Temple Pilots, Foo Fighters, Dave Matthews Band, Candlebox, Live, Gin Blossoms, Alice in Chains, A Perfect Circle, Tool, John Mayer, Steve Aoki, Arty, Third Eye Blind, Tonic, Vertical Horizon, Aerosmith, Pearl Jam, Audioslave, Army of Anyone, Ben Folds Five, Blue October, Silverchair, Counting Crows, Bob Marley, Dashboard Confessional, Days of the New, The Shins, Smashing Pumpkins, Soiundgarden, Mumford and Sons and Fleet Foxes.. Moving on... I have never been into pop (a little more though as of late due to friends exposing me to it), rap, or country and yet I do like some electronica every once in awhile...go figure. I can't dance to save my life, so if your man must dance, then I might not be for you, but don't get me wrong, I am not scared to learn as long as you're a good teacher... (gulp)

I enjoy photography and watching hockey and football. I am from Northern NY as I mentioned so I am a New York Giants fan and a Montreal Canadiens fan in hockey!! (my hometown is only an hour and a half from the Canadian border). Go Habs!!
I am sure I could share more, but I want to leave some questions unanswered for the first date.. And if you are wondering... Yes, there will be a quiz on the first date in relation to the above material.
What I’m doing with my life
I spend my days off improving and landscaping my home and travelling/exploring. I am currently building an outdoor kitchen and renovating my indoor kitchen. I do my best at keeping in touch with the rest of the world when I can squeeze it in...
I’m really good at
Making people smile and laugh, fixing broken household items, improving my home, cooking (you just wait!) and relaxing... I am really good at that.. once everything else is done of course ;)...oh, and I can play guitar and sing... some people that have been within earshot when I am performing say i'm not too bad either :) It is a true passion.
The first things people usually notice about me
I am the whole package!! You'll see ... I'll make you laugh a lot:)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: When I was a kid I loved James Michener (Tales of the South Pacific, Alaska, Hawaii, Carribbean), now its fewer novels and more textbooks for school. I do read a lot of aviation regulations and manuals for my career as well. It's a lot cooler than it sounds. Trust me ;)
Movies: 80's comedies, 90's comedies, today's comedies...as well as some suspense, action, occasional horror... I could list, but we all like a lot of movies. Let's leave it at that for now.
Shows: Big Bang Theory, Louie, It's Always Sunny, The Office, 30 Rock, Entourage, House, Anthony Bourdain, any show dealing with Alaska on Discovery, Nat Geo, etc... I could go on, but TV is not an every day for me... Too busy sometimes.
Food: Anything... just not a big fan of mushrooms and thats about it. Really like spicy foods. I love the heat and even more now that I have read that heat is very good for you!
The six things I could never do without
A beautiful woman's smile
A tent
A guitar
A match...actually I could rub two sticks together, but that would be seven things...
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Where my dog has disappeared to and what he is up to
My mom and dad and their health and happiness
Why thieves don't get jobs and STOP STEALING!!!
Why it feels like I am the only person that operates a vehicle in San Antonio that took driver's education...
And how I am still single... utterly confusing.
On a typical Friday night I am
With my schedule, who knows. If this means on MY Friday night, then I will probably be out having a cocktail catching up with friends, maybe playing a little guitar and going for a late night dip in my pool alone or with the crew.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I thought I already told you that?
You should message me if
You cannot spend another day of your life wasting it without being in my presence!! just kidding... You should message me if I made you smile... or the first part ;)
