My self-summary
Hi there, I'm Kyle.

I'm passionate, honest, driven, capable, and a gentleman. Manners are important. I crave a good conversation and I am easy to talk to - I especially enjoy 'solve-the-world’s-problems-talks' that are full of witty banter and good laughs. I'm also passionate about producing great theatre. I have travelled performing nearly in every state in the entire country, and I have hundreds of great stories to tell - Getting out and thoroughly enjoying life and the world we live in is a major priority to me.

I don't require my water to be bottled, or my food to be 'designed'. I'll gladly go for Mai-Tais and steaks at Damon's, Saganaki is an absolute favorite (from anywhere) as is Toasted Ravioli (a St. Louis original culinary delight), and dinner at home can be a dream almost anytime. I also consider myself a true connoisseur of pizza. If you have a favorite pizza joint - you gotta turn me on to it. Oh, AND: my latest favorite chow-spot is The Boiling Crab. Taste explosion. Delicious!

I don't have a "type" really, but I can definitely say that my ideal date is a feminine, and independent woman who knows her own strengths. She's fun to be with, is passionate and loves to make life worth living. It wouldn't hurt if she loves the nightlife - and also truly enjoys stimulating time at home. She should be intelligent, and have a yen for quirky humor. She should have a curiousity about the world, and communication and problem-solving skills are an absolute must. Authenticity when it comes to needs, and the ability to have the moxy to go out and get 'em are definitely appreciated! I find those things incredibly sexy. Arrogance is not appreciated, however. She should enjoy the theatre, be passionate about life, and eager to have a lot of fun - and enjoy guys with boyish good looks. I could also say that I'm ready to have that one special woman walk in the door and change my life forever...

I have an outrageous passion for Halloween: aka The best night of the year (really good ones last two weeks in my book)! I love music, theatre, appreciate both films AND movies, but I have discriminating tastes towards TV. I embrace a very wide range of music (*see below). Concerts can be a religious experience. Nightlife = me in my element.

Now, who's up for some adventures?
What I’m doing with my life
Producing and living the dream.
I’m really good at
Conversation, singing, having fun and making any situation I'm in fun for me and my friends. Voting. SCUBA. Jarts (and darts). Seeing things from the long-view, keeping an open mind, and problem-solving. Hosting swell parties. I'm GREAT around the house: building and fixing things (carpentry, gardening, plumbing, electrics - and insect removal), cooking, cleaning, laundry and all the home-ec stuff a good house needs to be well-kept (you should see me at holiday time...). Damn, would mom be proud.
The first things people usually notice about me
That I look nowhere close to my age. I'm told by most this is a good thing.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Music is major for me: New Order, The Cure, The Smiths, Echo and the Bunnymen, Psychedelic Furs, Morrissey, old NIN, really old INXS, General Public and The English Beat, Billy Idol, Sigue Sigue Sputnik, Nitzer Ebb, Flesh for Lulu, Interpol, The Bravery, Nightmare of You, She Wants Revenge, Hot Hot Heat, The Killers, White Lies, MGMT, Cut Copy, M83, Stellastarr*, Black Kids, The Arcade Fire, Franz Ferdinand, Pulp. New Wave & even some good old R&B, Soul, or Disco definitely gets me revved up. Pretty much anything with an insistant beat and sardonic or sentimental lyrics rocks my house.

TV: This is truly a golden age of television we're living in now. There are a litany of shows that I crave... Game of Thrones is my current #1. Downton Abbey, House of Cards, Penny Dreadful, Black Mirror, True Detective, The Walking Dead, The Leftovers, Mad Men was fucking great, Being Human, Nurse Jackie, BBC's The League of Gentlemen, Kids in the Hall, Rachel Maddow, The Colbert Report, & The Daily Show (why did you leave us, Stephen and Jon???), Dr. Who, Battlestar Galactica, Twilight Zone, Tales from the Darkside. I could go on...

Favorite Movies: (500) Days of Summer is the best movie I've seen in at least a decade... more: Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Closer, A Clockwork Orange, Trainspotting, Tron, Star Wars, Indiana Jones, 12 Monkeys, Time Bandits, Young Sherlock Holmes, Red Dawn - the pre-9/11 masterpiece, Fast Times at Ridgemont High, The Clash of the Titans (Ray Harryhausen original), Pretty In Pink, Weird Science, Splash, The Money Pit, Oh Brother, Where Art Thou?, The Game, High Fidelity, The Bad Seed, The Omen, The Shining...
Six things I could never do without
The Arts,
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Producing. and... How to get the Republicans OUT of Congress.
On a typical Friday night I am
Either onstage, or out on the town with friends
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
This is more "the most embarrassing thing I'm willing to admit", but I boycotted the new Battlestar Galactica for years - and now... okay, I loved it. I grew up loving the original series, so I took a purist tack - Cylons are people? Starbuck is a woman? Well, suffice it to say, once I dove in, I went through that series like a meth addict.

Here's another. Less sarcastic. I don't have any tattoos. It's one of the last promises I made to my mother before she passed away. I plan to keep that promise.
You should message me if
You are the 'Most Interesting Woman in the World'. You redefine femininity. You've got self-esteem enough to be past your 'bad-boy phase'. You strive to be kind and don't belittle people. You are considerate and care about the world around you.

AND: you think we'd have a blast knowing each other! What else?
The two of us
