My self-summary
Hello! I am a single guy, 27, looking for casual dating with the eventual goal of a serious relationship. So really what I'm interested is some no pressure talking and getting to know one another.

In short, I'm a no games, call it like I see it kind of person. I'm not afraid to call someone out or be called out myself. Overall I know what I want and how to get it. That's not to say I am not respectful, I identify as a feminist, and can be pretty intolerant towards prejudice. I consider myself intelligent, ethical, and honest and have basic standards for people who I like to spend time with.

I'm a college graduate looking at masters programs as well as a good use for my bachelors degree. I can be a bit of a nerd, but enjoy current events, especially just about anything going on outside the U.S. Someone who can hold intelligent conversation, can have fun and laugh, and is concerned with self improvement certainly catches my attention.
What I’m doing with my life
Experiencing the inevitable anguish of living a brief life in an absurd world (it's a quote)

And you know, trying to have some fun doing it (100% original)
I’m really good at
Trivia. For some reason I absorb factoids like a sponge. Jeopardy and Trivial Pusuit are kinda my thing. Go ahead, ask me something. Promise I won't use Google
The first things people usually notice about me
My hair. It turns all the heads. Usually makes the ladies jealous. I like to refer to it as my 'mane'. It's also earned me the nickname "the ginger lion"
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Music: VERY important. However, open to about anything. Jazz, Folk, Alternative, even catchy pop. Some e.g.'s: Cosmo Jarvis, The Mountain Goats, AWOLNATION, The Cardigans, Architecture in Helsinki, Miles Davis, Sufjan Stevens, Lana del Rey, Interpol, Tegan and Sara, Florence + The Machine. Just no newish country, sexist/misogynist rap, or grunge.

Books: Anything on philosophy (my main area of interest is Early Modern, so basically from the 14th to 18th century), Jose Saramago, Chuck Palahniuk, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Richard Dawkins

Movies: Anything that makes you think or leaves an impression, and love dark comedy. Or if it's just fucked up. Waking Life, Requiem of a Dream, City of God, Cloud Atlas
The six things I could never do without
Hot sauce
Good friends
The 24 hours ahead
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Why? I'm what you call a chronic over-thinker
On a typical Friday night I am
Affirming my agency
