My self-summary
Life's too short to not enjoy it, or to take yourself too seriously. I like people who feel the same.
I’m really good at
Last minute packing for international trips, operating at a high level with little sleep, not drinking coffee, having way too much fun when I'm not supposed to, being a gentleman (its a lost art), Sunday Fundays, solo traveling, making 90s rock/Hoodrat jams/Electropop playlists, watching French movies without subtitles. You know, all the essentials.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Anything by Amitav Ghosh (especially The Glass Palace, my all-time fave), King Leopold's Ghost, Harry Potter, Everybody Poops, The Aeneid, The Four Noble Truths (Buddhism), spy novels (Le Carre, etc)

Billions, Homeland, House of Cards, Game of Thrones
Six things I could never do without
International Travel
Good Food (Congolese/Mexican/Indian/Sushi are my jams, but I'll try anything at least once)
Being Active (always gotta have a pair of running shoes and a tennis racquet on deck)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Dogs, global health, my next concert, the elimination of racial and gender disparities, DR Congo's return to greatness, sunglasses, how I can be a better man, tequila, sprint workouts, romcoms, all things Notre Dame, whether or not you can overdose from District Taco
On a typical Friday night I am
Doing hoodrat stuff with my friends
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm an open book, but I'd have to say that I was a 4-time National Latin Exam gold medal winner in high school. Clearly I was a prom all-star . . .
You should message me if
You are an inherently happy, positive person, you are passionate about something, you enjoy being active, you're always down for a concert, you actually live in the district, and you don't have a selfie of yourself in your car.
