My self-summary
Hi there! After living in the southeast for almost my entire life, I finally escaped to the PNW and am absolutely loving it so far. To answer the oft asked question of why I moved to Seattle, I am non-monogamous, non-religious, a vegetarian, and a lover of cannabis. Though the natural beauty and commitment to environmental issues played a big part in getting me up here. The progressive politics also help greatly.

So, I'm pretty weird. I like strange, dark music and movies, and have a really intense absurd streak. I've done a good bit of theater, mostly sketch comedy, and I'm hoping to get into the sketch scene here in Seattle. I like watching all kinds of movies but I'm not into much TV. Though I do have a soft spot for the sportsball, particularly basketball, football and some soccer.

I'm very sex positive and prefer to build non-hierarchical relationships with few expectations outside of honesty and openness. I dig the ideas behind relationship anarchy and would love to chat more about said ideas!
What I’m doing with my life
I just started working two new jobs, so that's a big part of my life at the moment. And I just moved to Capitol Hill, so I'm mostly getting settled into my new life.

Other than the new jobs, I've been doing a lot of internetting, hanging with friends and conversing, exploring Seattle's various neighborhoods, interacting, deconstructing, overthinking, theorizing, watching movies, plotting my escape (update: escape = success!), attempting to overthrow small South American countries equipped only with a plum floating in a men's hat full of perfume and some Twizzlers.
I’m really good at
Taking conversations "there", obscure references and unnecessarily useless knowledge, advocating for devils, problem solving (logistic or interpersonal), fixing tiny loose screws, coming up with alternate theories, leading and/or following (depending on what needs to be done), making faces, I guess generally being weird? I have oft been complimented for my hugs.
The first things people usually notice about me
My sense of humor. That, or the ENORMOUS bulge in my pants.

One of these statements is in fact false.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
a)Douglas Adams, Richard Dawkins, Dan Dennett, Joseph Campbell, Vonnegut, Philip Pullman's His Dark Materials, Tolkien, Frank Herbert, Neil Gaiman, Margaret Atwood, Terry Pratchet, Neil DeGrasse Tyson. I don't read as much long form as I should, but endless science and philosophy articles on the internet takes up a good bit of reading time

b)As I am a bit of a pretentious film geek, I'll list my favorite filmmakers: Steven Soderbergh, Stanley Kubrick, The Brothers Coen, Danny Boyle, Jean-Pierre Jeunet, Alfred Hitchcock, David Cronenberg, Tim Burton, Robert Rodriguez, Paul Verhoeven, David Lynch, Michel Gondry, David O. Russell, Hayao Miazaki, Errol Morris, David Fincher, Terry Gilliam, Takashi Miike, Chan Wook Park, Alejandro Jodorowsky.

c) Random faves: nine inch nails, Plaid, Squarepusher, om, Elder, Mastodon, Venetian Snares, Justice, iwrestledabearonce, UZ, Aphex Twin, Mars Volta, The Refused, High On Fire, Faith No More (and Mike Patton in general). More recent: Anderson. Paak, Childish Gambino, The Dillinger Escape Plan, King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, Run The Jewels

d)vegetarian which means I'm loving the options here in Seattle. Indian, Thai, Mexican are always good, and I never turn down pizza.
Six things I could never do without
Friends and others with which to interact, cynicism, useless knowledge, sensual stimuli(visual, auditory, tactile), the totally sweet ability to communicate and all of the varying ways in which to do so, and a diorama of the Hindenberg disaster made entirely of Ritz crackers.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
If it weren't for my horse, I would have never spent that year in college....

Also: memetics, metaphilosophy, ego death, deconstruction, postmodernism, SCIENCE!, the far future, the far past, moral relativism, linguistics, what animals experience as consciousness, sociology, anthropology and cultural evolution, genetics, the modern evolutionary synthesis, evo/devo, biology, neurophilosophy, ecology, the internet, technology, posthumanism, transhumanism, religion, politics, sexuality, oxytocin, free thought, shifted paradigms, the reality that I am a giant complicated machine colony of cells towering above a microscopic world full of wave/particle dualities, while at the same time being an insignificant spec of dust on a larger insignificant spec of cosmic dust floating through space.

"A slut shares her sexuality the way a philanthropist shares his money — because they have a lot to share, because it makes them happy to share it, because sharing makes the world a better place." - The Ethical Slut
On a typical Friday night I am
Breathing, with a high possibility that I am metabolizing food at least at some point, all the while slowing watching my bodies' cells replace themselves.

Actually, I'm usually chilling at my place after dinner with friends Friday nights as I am almost always volunteering early Saturday morning.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Yeah, so all of that kind of comes off as slightly crazier than I actually am, or at least think I am. Really, though, I think sanity is a relative term and anyone can be comparatively insane next to someone else.
Though I have not entirely ruled out the possibility that I may be crazy. Not like dangerous mass murdery crazy. Like, "why is that naked guy yodeling at that rock and dancing" crazy. Fun crazy.

I'd say I'm a pervert, but I'm pretty sure we're all preoccupied with sex in some fashion. I mean, I don't look at porn all day at work or anything like that. My mind is just comfortable in the gutter.

I seem to have the somewhat miraculous ability to be both over-analytical and oblivious to things. Though the former quite often causes the latter.

And basically anything you ask me. Seriously. Anything. Give it a shot. I like talking about those things you aren't supposed to talk about.
You should message me if
You have a third arm, third eye or third nipple.

You have a vast and unending desire to learn, analyze, deduce, or grok the world around you.

Also reddit

I will reiterate, I am not interested in primary, monogamous relationships. At all.
