My self-summary
I'm originally from the east coast and I've spent a lot of time in Germany, especially Berlin. I Moved out to SF about a year ago from Washington, DC, for a job I'm really enjoying. I love a good sense of humor and the carefully placed double-entendre. Exploring SF and its surroundings is still a lot of fun, especially parks, museums, and bars with good cocktails.
What I’m doing with my life
For a living, I try to make the world for fun by making browser-based games hosted on Facebook other platforms. For my life, I'm spending time with friends, traveling, and soaking in life in California (though I'm still not sure exactly what that means).
I’m really good at
pronouncing German words, cooking, packing suitcases, getting to the airport on time (and 5 minutes late for just about everything else), kindness, biting humor, social commentary, and going to baseball games.
The first things people usually notice about me
my smile and quick wit.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
just really enjoyed Cloud Atlas and the Thousand Autumns of Jacob de Zoet by David Mitchell. Me Talk Pretty One Day is pretty much the funniest thing I've ever read. Reading Tales of the City now.
You should message me if
you're interesting in meeting a recovering east coast intellectual and exchanging stories, jokes, and the occasional knowing look.
