My self-summary
Recent update:

I came to realize that I am really here (alive) looking for 3 main things (you probably are as well): Mental, Physical, and Emotional compatibility/interaction. All I want out of life is to meet and spend time with people i like and am attracted to and who like and are attracted to me - mentally/physically/emotionally. I want to have fun, challenge and be challenged, and make some self improvements, some global improvements - it would be hella sweet killer to do that with fun sexy people.

A Texan raised by former New Yorkers. I love all things media and culture related and fill my work-hours and pleasure-hours within this realm. I'm a total people person, despite an initial shyness, and I am close with my family and good friends; spending lots of time with both groups on a regular basis. I consider balance in all things to be very important: I like to work and play hard, I like to stay in and go out, I find likes and dislikes in almost everything and everyone (some say this is attributed to my being a Libra). I am easy to get along with, constantly lightening the mood. I'm easy going and even easier to please. I appreciate the little things in life and have trained myself to take mental note of them despite their minuteness. I enjoy a back-and-forth conversation ranging from a plethora of topics (excluding most things politics-related).

I view myself as both simple and complex: I don't need much to be happy and find routine pleasant for the most part, I can be a social chameleon finding something to talk about with someone from any age, race, gender, religious, background, etc., yet I get lost in my thoughts and devote many hours to pondering "the big questions" and my existence and the lives of others, constantly hoping to discover more meaning to life, and hoping to find someone who with I can discuss these mutual thoughts.

I have a soft spot for read heads, but do not discriminate.

I cherish humor above all and utilize it in every facet of my life. I can't help causing comedy or discovering it in just about every inch i crawl. I often feel rather average to the average consumer, but upon a deeper investigation I can be an exciting and meaningful adventure. I'm open to anything and almost anyone.

I also like to play tennis, but haven't in ages and I'm on-and-off really into crossword puzzles.
What I’m doing with my life
...is something I contemplate on routinely.

The short answer: I work in music business management. It is essentially an accounting and bookkeeping position, but it's rock n'roll.

The real mystery lies in my background, which is creative writing, journalism, and film. I snuck into my job via an internship under my best friend. I turned out to be a pretty hard worker and my willingness to put in the time has gotten me two 17" monitors and a salaried position. I thoroughly enjoy it and the perks it entails, but I would hardly say this is what I will be doing forever.

My end game is to write for TV/film, but I have a variety of dreams and believe, not only that one should explore each of them, but modern times allows one to do so.

At the end of the day, I hope for my life to be filled with more work that I genuinely enjoy. I am the kind of dude who will be his most successful self if he is working in a field he loves; and his experiences have proven this to be true.
I’m really good at
I am intergalactically known for my hugs.

Seeing all sides of an argument, or at least making my strongest effort to do so. I try to squeeze into everyone elses' shoes. I'm good at listening and listening carefully. I am reliable and dependable. I have trouble saying no and take pleasure in being a useful resource to my friends and sometimes even strangers. I like to be considered a talented writer and have been called the human Pandora, perhaps regrettably. I roll a mean joint and have been called a MacGyver smoking devices.I am a great friend, sibling and child.

I also specialize in making people laugh; anyone and all the time.
The first things people usually notice about me
My friendliness and ability to put others at ease. My up-for-it, down-for-it approach to life. Or...my sense of humor. And not in that particular order, because my sense of humor is without question the first thing people notice about me. I enter most situations with something laughably funny. I can't escape the desire to make others laugh or smile, and it's painfully obvious.

I can also be seen wearing shorts until the absolute latest time of winter.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Book-wise: I am far worse-read than I would like to be. Sometimes I'll go through a good spurt and I'll adore it, but most often I'm on a dry spell. I like trying new foods and I like cooking, although I rarely find the time lately. I can eat anywhere, going in tune with my easy-goingness, but do appreciate mixing it up. My tongue is very open to suggestions.
The six things I could never do without
My family
Music - listening to, seeing live, playing
Traveling/Exotic food
Laughter, inciting laughter
Hands on experimentation
The summer time
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Outer. Space.

Ways to improve existing products, social norms, and jokes.

Where to eat.

"The big questions in life" -- why are we here, what are we supposed to be doing, what's the deal with outer space. But I also think about my family and society and other people and why we do the things we do and how everything is connected. I wonder about those who are less fortunate and what causes poverty and homelessness. I think about God and what I would like to believe in aside from his or her existence. I think about myself and how to waste less potential and achieve my dreams. I think about my dreams and about flying and about the future.
On a typical Friday night I am
Lying to myself about having energy to 'ball out'. More likely dining with my brother or friends post-work, relaxing in front of a movie, or drinking some beers. Friday night can either become causal quickly or evolve into extravagant horse play and debauchery.

I have been known to hibernate in a cannabis cave and I think that is just dandy.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Some of my best childhood memories took place at the TX Renaissance Festival, and lately I have craving a return visit.

I'm often self loathing

i manicure my hands myself

I don't like to fart in public.
You should message me if
you have an excessive sense of humor, you like interesting foods/music/movies, you like the feeling of fresh socks, you like to be doted upon, you have siblings of your own, you are a chubby chaser, you alternate between lazy and go-getter, or you have a keyboard and are feeling talkative.

don't bother if...

you are a boring eater, you have any less than 'medium' interest in music, perversion offends you, you are depressive, you are a stickler for rules, the most private thing you are willing to admit is that you have an OKC account or "nothing, it's supposed to be private", you commit hate crimes, or if this grosses you out (_)_).
