My self-summary
I love what I do so I work hard but at the end of the day I like goofing off and enjoy silliness. It usually consists of hanging out with my friends and family. We eat, sit around and talk, watch movies, eat, go on hikes or walks and eat - needless to say, food is usually involved.

The things that are most important to me are my family, my friends, and my work. My family and friends would describe me as easy going, curious, and adventurous. And polite. My parents raised me to be polite - sometimes painfully so, but I like it. And my work would describe me as taking it seriously but not taking myself seriously.

As for what I'm looking for; I like smart people who disagree with me. So I don't necessarily need someone who's into what I'm into or thinks the way I do. I prefer someone who will call me out on my stuff (in a nice way), because I tend to do that for people I care about. I'm comfy in my own skin and I prefer a woman who is as well. And to go with the theme of being comfortable - I want someone I can be myself with, someone who can be themselves with me. I grew up in a home with parents that are happily married - and I have been so lucky to have such amazing friends in my life - I want to be with a person that is my best friend. There are so many ways to say it, but in a nutshell - someone who will eat off of my plate.

Ok, that was kinda all over the place, but that's me - outside of a nutshell.
What I’m doing with my life
I like to make things. Movies. Food. Believe.

And since that is a bit esoteric I'll add that - I have a job. I work on films and commercials.
I’m really good at
I am a great audience. I love to laugh. I love all kinds of humor; from wit and sarcasm to slap stick and absurdity. If you can make a funny face, do a silly dance, or rebel with a joke I will pay you one of my best compliments - I will laugh.

Also, I'm good at being encouraging, bringing out the best in people, and making people feel comfortable (which may be three ways of saying the same thing).

Having fun with everyday things - grocery shopping, laundry, making plans (and following through). Being curious and curiouser. And I am an exceptional Driver.
The first things people usually notice about me
My beard, if I have it - I shave it off every so often on a whim.

When not bearded I've been told its my eyes. But, you can tell me otherwise. Also, recently, new people I've met have said that I am "kind" and "comfortable." So there's that.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
These lists can go on and on - so here's just some of my favorites! Also, I don't think most of this section really matters as they are evolving - except for the food part.

Six things I could never do without
Okay..."never do without" is kind of ridiculous. So......

Laughter (of the belly aching variety)
New things - new people, new places, new foods, new _______ - I think new things lead to growth.
Writing Utensil

I know this is more than 6 things - but rules are meant to be broken. And I could probably do without most of those things (not the Laughter or New Things though).
I spend a lot of time thinking about
What I want to make next. Also lately - Chord Progressions, Getting "that" sound out of my guitar, Blogging (haven't started yet), and Etymology.

"Why, sometimes I've believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast." - Lewis Carroll
On a typical Friday night I am
Dinner with friends, a movie out or a movie from the comfort of my couch. Sometimes a concert or a dive bar. Though I would say that none of these are isolated to my Friday night.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Don't call me Dude.

I can never tell the time when they show a clock in movies.
You should message me if
You want to - and you don't just want to be pen pals.

And you're a good person, a good communicator, and drama free. You make an effort to get along with my family and friends.

Also - and this is most important of all - you like tacos.
