My self-summary
I'd call myself a social democrat, were this label not so badly abused. If I see potential in someone I might call myself discordian or anarchist. I've been accused of being a Nazi, a Salafist and a Nihilist among others. Therefore, as a safety-net, the explicit text without any irony: I consider myself an environmentalist first, a socialist second and pro-queer, pro-feminist and basically every other form of ethically liberal.

In terms of love I have been bouncing between (hetero-flavored) all-out-free-for-all and monogamy-for-my-lover's-sake. I have never been able to actually hate someone I once loved but (for whatever reason) don't anymore - which to some (but not all) of my former lovers has been a constant source of jealousy.

I'm therefore looking to find someone of the "polyamorous" or at least "open relationship" persuasion. Eventually I'd really like to have kids of my own, but that's less important (I'm already uncle aplenty) than the aforementioned criteria.
What I’m doing with my life
Thinking about working on my next opus magnum, teaching game design, spamming my FB-friends with political* commentary, actually working on my next opus magnum**.

*"self-summary"

**Keeps changing. I'll be happy to show you the current state of the current one. Just ask.
I’m really good at
...combining skills that I'm actually quite mediocre at. This does make me really good at some other things, like going off-piste topically and making friends.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
recent favorites:

"Mozart in the Jungle" - if you've ever tried to collectively create something beautiful, this show will speak to your heart as it has to mine. Also: it features Gael Garcia Bernal as a caricature of Gustavo Dudamel who in turn even gets a little cameo.

"Love in the Time of Cholera" - I do love me my Bolaño and when I want to feel dark there's always a Vargas Llosa I have not yet read. The fascination for Cortazar eludes me, though, and for nearly three months now I have been novel-less. Please help! I seem to read in phases. I've had my "great Russians", my "classic Cyberpunk", my "everything Alan Moore wrote and inspired" and so on, but my magical realism phase seems to be on the way out.

Music-wise I don't really do favorites, my taste seems to vary by the hour. Safe picks are MBP (musica brasileira popular), Afro-Beat (everything up to Fela/Tony Allen... but give my some early sixties highlife to see me eargasm instantly) and Modern Jazz.
Six things I could never do without
Friends. Everything else is negotiable.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
...how to improve my resistance to the current right-wing global takeover.
If that sounds pretentiously altruistic, consider that my personal comfort zone is waaay to the left of the current political mainstream. It really is just a long-term take on egotism.
On a typical Friday night I am
My friday nights are just as a-typical as any of my other times of the week. I take a lot of pride in that and wouldn't have it any other way.
