My self-summary
I am the very model of a collegiate-type redditor
As an engineer, the earth, I want to better her.
I know how best to party and I'll sample any fine liquor,
And if you think the world is great I must admit that I concur.
What I’m doing with my life
Environmental Health Specialist, abating risks and keeping the public safe.
I’m really good at
Science, well, mainly engineering, I would rather create than deal with the rigors of testings.
Telling tales
Being sociable (with science, I throw a mean black-light party)
Being the center of attention.
I sing all the time and whistle.
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm loud and enjoy being the center of attention; odds are the first things you're going to notice is what story I'm telling.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I read a lot, my favorite authors are Tolkein, Douglas Adams, J.K. Rowling, Cussler, Crichton, Orson Scott Card, Terry Prachett, Kevin Anderson, David Lynch, Jack London, Timothy Zhan, and recently Scott Sigler, Kevin Hearne, Patrick Rothfuss, Brandon Sanderson and Nathan Lowell.

I love Star Wars and other sci-fi and fantasy films, action stuff like Die Hard the occasional rom-com (anything with Bill Nighy in it), and even the occasional critically acclaimed classic (especially with Kevin Spacey).

I'm a whovian, and browncoat, with a soft spot for other shows by the BBC and anything with Nathan Fillion. The Last Air Bender, Cowboy Bebop, Community, Walking Dead, Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, The Simpsons, Futurama, Psych, Pokemon. Recently a big anime kick thanks to my more otaku friends.
I REALLY ENJOY House of Cards, and have great hopes for the future of netflix exclusives.

When it comes to food I'm open to just about anything.
I love both cooking and baking, and specialize in breakfasty things, my life long culinary goal is to develop the worlds best French Toast.

Also I like comedy, stand-up especially but Dallas doesn't have much of a comedy scene.

As for music, I have this old collection of my favorites, about 30k songs, but since Spotify came to the U.S. I haven't gone back. My taste is random and eclectic; including samples from every genre. Spotify allows me to cultivate these tastes and share them with the world. If you're a member I'd be happy to send you a playlist anytime. A few artist I'm currently listening to includes: Nina Simone, Elvis Crespo, The Eagles, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Timbuktu, Florence and The Machine, Shiny Toy Guns, Infected Mushroom, Beck, Snoop, and a half hundred others.
Six things I could never do without
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Music, finding a duet partner, what I'm going to read next. If I should move to another country or a different state.
On a typical Friday night I am
Home or out with friends. Good chance we're playing some video game or just shooting the breeze.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
That I'm dreadfully ticklish.
You should message me if
We have any common interests. I am truly a social creature and love meeting new people. I'm also looking for someone to sing along to Disney movies and/or bake pies with. And if you sang my self-summary to the correct tune you get bonus points. Hint: Gilbert and Sullivan.
