My self-summary
I am a New York-born former-computer-scientist now-lawyer Queens-resident Manhattan-employed theater-going TV-watching music-listening cat-owning gay. And yes, I did just use "gay" as a noun. But I did it ironically, so that makes it okay.

I am also no longer on the market. Sorry.

What I’m doing with my life
I am an attorney at a big law firm. Someday I hope to contribute to the LGBT rights movement in some small way. For now I'm just paying back my not-as-large-as-they-were-three-years-ago student loans.
I’m really good at
logic puzzles, crossword puzzles, alphabetizing things, and pretty much any task that requires obsessive attention to detail.
The first things people usually notice about me
1. My neutral facial expression, which people tell me makes me look like I'm unhappy. I'm not unhappy - it's just my face.
2. Sense of humor alternating between dry wit and bluest gutter.
3. Tendency to make esoteric references in casual conversation.

Six things I could never do without
Besides the snarky response of Maslow's bottom tier, here are six things I'd really rather not do without:
(1) High-speed internet
(2) Access to the dramatic arts (and within this, I gaily and blasphemously include musical theater)
(3) Friends to drive me crazy and keep me sane
(4) The two cats with whom I live
(5) The ability to go for long walks, whether through city streets or out in nature
(6) My sense of whimsy
I spend a lot of time thinking about
eschatology; equal protection and due process; the arc of the moral universe; the juxtaposition of highbrow and lowbrow.
On a typical Friday night I am
deciding whom to marry in two days.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I was the fifth person to donate to Colbert SuperPAC.
You should message me if
- you'd like to be my theater buddy
- you aren't deterred by the duration of this profile
- you enjoy rambling, wide-ranging conversations over the course of long walks
- you cry when you watch this video clip
- you appreciate a bullet-point list
- you don't expect a response (see above re: no longer on market)
