My self-summary
1-I'm a prototypical Gen-Y dualist...an outdoorsy urbanite with affinity for new technology and adventure sports.
2-I'm energetic.
3-I aspire to lead a polymathic life.
4-I like to eat healthily and exercise regularly.
5-I'm excited and passionate about most things in my life.

It's hard not to feel vain after writing this section. For balance, here's the same list with a self-deprecating filter.

1-I'm even indecisive about my personality type.
2-Like a puppy...only they're cuter.
3-Wow! Can you say pretentious?! Linking to a dictionary in an OKC profile...
4-This about sums it up.
5-Except for 'Reply All' in email. I like it, but It rarely does me much good.
---
I'm a perpetual optimist, very curious and I really love doing things. It's been proven to me time and time again, fun comes less from what you're doing and more from who you're doing it with. I like meeting people that have a similar affinity toward cool things.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm a freelance web-developer and some other stuff.

More importantly, traveling, playing, exploring. I do have a slight rock climbing addiction. I can quit when I want, I just don't want to.
I’m really good at
I'm pretty awesome at opening jars. I don't mean to brag, but I have about a 55% success rate. People tell me it's one of my better traits.
The first things people usually notice about me
How life-like I am.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I am a big NPR and podcast fan. My favorite radio shows: This American Life, Anything by Gimlet Media, Tim Ferris Show.

Shows...I tend to get sucked into the Showtime/Netflix/HBO shows. A couple favorites: W1A and Mr. Robot.

Books....I've been on a Historical fiction bender lately. I love a good adventure book. It makes me restless. Reading a book on Everest qualifies me for accent...right?

Movies...All kinds. I am not too picky about movies. I like going to theaters.

Food... I love all types. I am a big foodie. I love to cook for people. I also love wine and craft beer, but not together. That sounds gross.

Music... Spotify notified me that I spent 11% of last year streaming their service. I thought it would have been closer to 103% but I'm really bad at estimation. Current Top-played on Spotify. Just a few non-representative favorites.
The six things I could never do without
1-Dinner Parties
2-Adventure Sports (Rock climbing, kiteboarding, BASE jumping, snowboarding, WW kayaking, biking...Look how outdoorsy I am)
3-Silliness
4-Passport
5-Apple...both the computer and the fruit. Yum to both.
6-Sex Panther by Odeon (It's made with bits of real panther, so you know it's good.)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
New climbing spots, JavaScript, how to subtly tell people I own vans (yup, vans plural) without creeping them out...
On a typical Friday night I am
...road tripping to a fun weekend adventure.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I have been known to enjoy a good romantic comedy. Many of my friends would argue there's no such thing. I, however, disagree.

I don't float. But on the brightside, I'm 50% awesome at scuba diving.
You should message me if
if you're up for some adventures, you like to climb rocks and you like some silliness in your life.

And please ladies, I will not respond to anyone with a topless selfie photo in your bathroom mirror...stop trying so hard! (jk - I probably will)
