My self-summary
Let’s see. I’m a young goal oriented professional. I have an amazing son who I am very lucky to have raised since he was 9 months old. When we aren’t hanging out, I enjoy going out with friends. I like to catch a live band, dancing, catching movies or theatre. I’m an avid reader, Great Gatsby is one of my favorite books. I work hard but still manage to daydream a bit. Lately I have gotten back into the indie film scene here in San Antonio. i love everything about making movies and decided that my next big goal is to make that my career, correction my paying career. Still have to pay the bills. Until that happens I will keep the day job.

I like finding humor in almost any situation, like why abbreviate is such a long word. I’m always up for getting out of my comfort zone and trying something new. Sometimes you find the most amazing things off the beaten path. I’m looking to find someone who shares a similar outlook on life and likes to laugh.
What I’m doing with my life
Taking care of my kiddo, working to pay the bills, and getting out to hang out with friends.

Making movies! I write for a web series and just finished production on my third short film.
I’m really good at
finding humor in situations, kissing (just saying. i have references), random trivia, six degrees of Kevin Bacon, coming through with the right thing to say at the right time, conversely coming up with the right thing to say at the wrong time.
The first things people usually notice about me
Eyes, and general good humor. Those that know me can also see that I'm losing weight.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Favorite Shows: Firefly, How I Met Your Mother, Bones, Castle (huge Nathan Fillion Fan), Supernatural, CSI, Battlestar Galactica (not on the air anymore but still a great series), Pushing Daisies, Dead Like Me, Fairly Legal, The Guild, Clannad, High School of the Dead, Bleach, Pretty much anything Joss Whedon has done.

Favorite Movies: Too many to count. I am a huge movie buff but here are my top ones. American Beauty, Sunset Boulevard, Casablanca, Life as a House, the Harry Potter series (don't laugh, they are incredibly well made films), Shawshank Redemption, The Graduate, Out of the Past (awesome Film Noir), Children of Men, Amelie, The Matrix (just the first one bc it totally blew Sci Fi out of the water), Serenity, James Bond Movies (Connery), Movies based off comic books (even the bad ones, I show support for Geek media), Black Swan, Closer, Ocean's Eleven, Boondock Saints, Akira, Ninja Scroll, and anything Hitchcock.

Favorite Books: The Great Gatsby, Invisible Man, Pride and Prejudice, Jane Eyre, Harry Potter Series, Jurassic Park, Interview with a Vampire (Vampires should never sparkle. Ever.)
Six things I could never do without
My kiddo
A good book
New adventures
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Story ideas, what I should be writing, philosophy, what I want to do on the weekend, the survivability of my Zombie Apocalypse plan, thinking up new article ideas, how to win six degrees of Kevin Bacon, and many other random things.
On a typical Friday night I am
lately at home working on my latest writing project or school work. If not then catching up on my Netflix que, hanging out with friends, going to movies, or generally having some adventures.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Not really super private, but I love being a dad. I've had custody of him since he was 1 and I wouldn't trade a single second of it for an "easier" life.
You should message me if
If you are interested in either a friendship or something more. I am looking for someone to enjoy time with and have awesome discussions about writing, politics, art, geek and gamer culture, and life in general.
