Now I recently accepted a job as the coordinator of multicultural recruitment and retention with a local college in the area. I also work with a lot of community based organizations to promote and implement better means of college access and financial aid to marginalized students. I do a lot of traveling for my job (New Orleans, Austin, Houston, Atlanta, Los Angeles, New Mexico, Arizona, all over New England, etc.)
Since I just moved to the area of New England, I was hoping to meet some cool people and hopefully make some good friends along the way. It would be nice to find somebody who can show me around the area and introduce me to some cool spots.
Also, I'm pretty damn funny. For real.
Basketball has been one of my favorite sports since 8 years old. I enjoy playing whenever I get some down time and can find my way to the courts.
Cooking, hiking, and boxing have come back into my hobbies over the past year.
My wordplay. I have been told my speech is quite eloquent and smooth, but in the most natural way:)

How Aziz Ansari's description of the current dating scene is spot on (and saddens me): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8UM_x7eUSaE
My narrative and the legacy I hope to leave behind.
Current state of education for my brothers and sisters.
Starting to get back into dancing. Mainly hip hop and salsa. Looking for a partner to help me get back on it. Would like to learn a couple more styles, so I'm all ears :) And I love to go to lives shows: rap, rock, jazz, blues, folk, classical, anything! I try to mix it up.
I have been playing harmonica with a couple of the local guitar players in the Pioneer Valley as of late. So you might catch me at an open mic or performing at a live show.
Some chess, cooking, and records for the most quiet of evenings.
