I am more of a traditionalist when it comes to dating. I generally prefer to meet in person over a cup of coffee or drink—I find it more practical and realistic than just chatting back-and-forth via online or texting. There’s just so much more gained and realized when getting together in a public place. I also like the opportunity to hold a lively dialogue beyond a few sentences (as well as see, hear, and feel the passion expressed in your eyes, face, and body language). I find myself new in a big city though, and as such, my social spheres are a bit limited. Online introductions seem to be a necessity these days, so who am I to argue? Just please know that I will try to get together in person with you if we click ASAP. I think that most often, both parties’ time is wasted when communicating in any other way.
I'm an active but laid back guy who loves life with zeal. I often live in the moment and I try not to let experiences pass me by. I love trying new things, the outdoors, being fit, eating healthy, and spending quality time with people. Some of my favorite activities include cooking, reading, snowboarding, wakeboarding, hiking, working out, camping, and traveling (I hope to travel the world). Bonus points if you’re adventurous and like to take random trips.
I am looking for someone who is interesting, intelligent, hilarious, and who enjoys the occasional inappropriate pun. Someone who will dance with me in the kitchen as I make dinner over a glass of wine (or two).
I’m not here for random hookups, but rather for the possibility of turning a casual encounter into more if the chemistry is right. Nonetheless, even if the chemistry isn’t there, I still can appreciate a new friend. I take all relationships in my life very seriously and I am just as eager to find good friends throughout my life, as I am to find a significant other.
In both myself and those that I choose to spend time with, I value integrity, honor, confidence, passion, adventure, risk taking, acceptance, and gratitude.
