My self-summary
What rings my chime? Obersächsich. Slap tonguing (if you're not a saxophonist, you can't understand). Impeccably unified vowels (if you're not a chorister, you can't understand). Vowel modification (contradiction? Alas, not if you're a tenor). Doubling, badly. Science. Public transportation. Structure & function. Dissonance. Assonance. Resonance. Tmesis.

I am distractable, curious, and candid
What I’m doing with my life
Learning to operate in small, dark places at that healthcare juggernaut in Oakland.
I’m really good at
being the classic jack of all trades; not sure I've become an expert at anything yet.
The first things people usually notice about me
You'd have to ask other people, wouldn't you?
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
At Swim, Two Boys by Jamie O'Neill still holds the number one book spot; it's a must read for anybody interested in gay literature. Musically my tastes are mercurial. I haven't listened to much lately, because for me music is an immersive experience and I can't devote the time just now. Barbecue and South Asian cuisine are particularly delicious, but really I just like to eat.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I love to clean the lint trap after drying a new set of towels.
