My self-summary
I spent a long time working really hard and running around everywhere to forge my life into a place where I can enjoy the fruits of those sacrifices: my own house, a cool job, a phenomenal group of friends, and a diverse list of hobbies and skills that I'm happy to have even if they're not all that frequently used. I'm not as ambitious as I used to be. I'm happy with where I've gotten myself so far and feel good about my trajectory, satisfied not to feel the need to rush anything, and being intentional about defining relationships by what they are rather than by preconceptions.
What I’m doing with my life
work: social media manager. Basically I get paid to chat on Twitter and play with fun analytics.

Trying to balance saying "yes" to as much as possible while still being disciplined about self-care.

I have a car but mostly get around by bus and car2go. I have an uncommon affection for riding public transit.
I’m really good at
Empathizing, finding extreme moments of joy and gratitude, bullshitting, hugging, making sentences convoluted, spelling and grammar (I demand we re-instate Oxford comma), writing, oversharing, math & numbers (gimme a good spreadsheet)
The first things people usually notice about me
It's probably my eyes or a big ol' smile.

And that I talk and laugh a lot. And often loudly.

The six things I could never do without
dining
dancing
conversation
writing

Smart phone
I spend a lot of time thinking about
motivations, the printed word, the meaning of happiness, the importance of balance, perception, the future of social media (technologically and culturally), privilege, inequality, the Seahawks, science
On a typical Friday night I am
Carousing, often including dining, drinks, and dancing, or perhaps board or video games at home, recovering from too much of the aforementioned three D's during the work week.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I occasionally have early morning solo dance parties while getting ready for work.
Also, I hang my t-shirts in my closet organized by color. I have individually rated every song in my music library. I still have my CD collection from back when I bought CDs - and it's organized alphabetically.
