I orbit the various sphere’s of the current nerdverse. I am more aware of all of it than maniacally into any one thing. My venn diagram crosses over most of the stereotypical genre’s and memes.
I am more comfortable around women than men and have many more female friends than male.
I cook, I am nice*, I am a little awkward but sincere. People tend to like me, I am not sure exactly why, but they do and I really appreciate it. (*I recently came to see that I am not actually nice. I can be judge-y and impatient at times. What I am is good. Not perfect but good. I am like neutral good but would want you to think that I am chaotic good.)
I used to live in Seattle for quite a long while and that is where I would say I am from although I was born in Hawaii. My life has very recently gone through a tremendous amount of change. I never imagined that I would be living in Phoenix. I did go to undergrad at NAU, but I never saw what would bring me to Phoenix. Yet here I am and the city has been a very pleasant surprise. It is not like I remembered it 20 years ago. Quite a lot is very new to me right now so I experience the world by trying to shake off as many assumptions about anything that I can.
Also my 'd' key doesn't always deploy when pressed. I often produce an indefinite article instead of a conjunction.
(ugh...does that sound like a loopy sad artist thing? I am not a loopy sad artist but I am working on things.)
I am good at talking but I am also, I promise, very good at listening. I mean I can talk enough to make that seem untrue but it is. I like to learn and I like to learn about people and what they do.
I am also pretty resourceful and handy.
Also, I haven't met a lot of new people recently but whenever I have, those new people often think I am gay. None of my friends who thought that at the time could explain why later. It is a mystery.

My hands, I sure use them a lot. I'd hate not having them.
I also think about feminism, which must sound like a line but it is true. I owe much of my career to women. I listen for ways that I can be the best advocate I can be.
Food, lots of food thoughts. How to make different things or improve others.
I also think a lot about how best to present myself here on this website that is accurate since I am looking for someone who is interested in who I actually am.
If you like to laugh, explore and don't mind getting lost. If you enjoy the company of someone who is smart, occasionally witty and often silly. If you like to have your ear talked off but know the phrase, "stop talking" will be politely and graciously obeyed. If you like humble creative types who come at things at odd angles. Those would be some reasons to message me.
Also, if you want me to message you, you should message me. I too am shy and I have to work up a little nerve to send a message.
Thanks for reading all the way to the bottom! You get a gold coin. Clap your hands above your head and it is yours!
