My self-summary
Longterm single, but fully capable of loving and being loved and much happier as half of a couple.

What I’m doing with my life
Inner-work. Becoming the best version of me I can be. I am a professional storyteller, liar, gossip, rumormonger, miscreant, layabout, and all around TROUBLEMAKER. (The good kind, apparently. The kind you seek and want in your life.) I write and produce monologues about my life (a kind of Spalding Gray meets David Sedaris lovechild). I am just concluding a series of 6 monologues about childhood called 'GROWING UP TWISTED', that I am serializing in a blog on my FACEBOOK profile (under NOTES). Did I leave anything out? Oh, I write volumes of poetry, make one-of-a-kind art postcards and lovely altered-books I am very proud of. I'm initiating a series of storytelling podcasts from open mic performances in the 1990's, and I try to be kind to cats and other living beings...
At the moment I am rehearsing for "The Fraternity of the Different" my annual Birthday show I will do in my big fat kitchen on October 16th.
I am always looking for more work in any child-enrichment field while I wait for the schoolyear to start again and my job to resume. Looking for someone to share the deep and profound love I have to share... and more!
I’m really good at
Talking. Listening. (There's nothing to talk about if you don't listen!) Writing. Making art. Making people feel heard and loved. Nurturing people. Caring for children. Designing and producing live shows and events. Acting. Directing. DJing. Making friends. Scrabble...
The first things people usually notice about me
I am friendly and open. Social and nurturing.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Big books in my life: The Phantom Tollbooth, A Wrinkle in Time, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead, A Long Way Gone: Memoirs of a Boy Soldier, Waiting for Godot, Catch-22, Les Miserables, Angela's Ashes... Currently reading: TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD.
I use the TV to watch movies mostly, but when I have the time, I enjoy: Frontline, Nova, Nature, The News Hour on PBS, BBC World News, American Masters, Cash Cab, History Detectives, Dirty Jobs, Family Guy, Mythbusters, No Reservations, The Colbert Report, South Park, (I used to enjoy Conan O'Brien as well as Andy Richter Controls the Universe), and I watch The Daily Show... daily!
Six things I could never do without
other people
reading glasses
plans and challenges
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How to be a more effective human being!
On a typical Friday night I am
Alone, unfortunately. Wednesday is my regular social gig. Busy with some project or other. I'd rather have company for a meal and a movie! Wanna come over?
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'll have to think about this!
You should message me if
You are not getting as much out of life as you know you deserve, and you are ready to do something about it.
