My self-summary
Hi! I moved to LA from Seattle a few years ago and since then have started a new chapter in my life. It's been an amazing journey and honestly moving to Los Angeles was the best decision I ever made.

My life is kind of in "building mode" right now. Like, forgoing fancy summer vacations and instead working hard to establish myself and the life that I want and that will bring me happiness.

I’m looking for someone who's independent, a little sassy, and not at all afraid to speak her mind. It's okay not to have everything all figured out in life. I'm very straightforward and to the point, and don't like playing mind-games or lots of drama. Honestly, I care more about enjoying the people I'm with more then what it is we're doing.

So yeah, that's me I guess. I feel like I've finally got this life thing down now.
What I’m doing with my life
I serve as lead video and animation editor for a small digital marketing start-up. So I make promotional videos, social media content, and help develop "brand identities" and other nonsense like that. It's so much fun and I get to learn new things, meet people, and there's always something different to do every day. It keeps me really engaged.

Before that, I lived in Seattle and worked for 5 years in fine dining. I guess that makes me a pretty good cook? I went to Culinary school after attending University. Now, I'm helping this little startup take off.
I’m really good at
Making self-deprecating jokes and spilling coffee on myself.
Making friends with your dog
Maintaining that crucial work/life balance
The first things people usually notice about me
Probably my name, Gib.

I tend to get a lot of nicknames, my friends and coworkers often call me Gibbers, Gibraltar, Gibberton, Gibbins, Gibberly, Gibbinator, Big Gib, or The Notorious GIB. I also heard Gibber McCheese recently :/

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Why there are upwards-facing icicles on the ice cubes in my ice cube trays. I can't figure it out! I have a few theories. Don't tell me and kill the mystery though.
On a typical Friday night I am
Keeping it low key, getting ready for a Saturday beach day, some new adventure, or just chilling.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
When I was little, my parents called me Piggin Gibonski Hansonoffski. :/
