My self-summary
The, "About Me" section begins below the PSA. Ha ha ha! (Please keep in mind that I write far more formally than I speak. Ha ha ha!)

***I feel that this is very important information that should be shared with everyone:

If you or any of your friends or loved ones have cancer, you may want to do some research on the Burzynski Clinic located in Houston, Texas. I was informed of Dr. Burzynski by my father after Dr. Burzynski completely cured a family member of ours of an inoperable cancer. Through your own research, you will find that Dr. Burzynski has in fact found what seems to be an actual CURE for many types of cancer, as did I.

The following is a link to "Burzynski, the Movie: Cancer Is Serious Business" (which was nominated for best documentary of 2011)

and this is the link to the Burzynski clinic itself.

Now back to our scheduled programming... Ha ha ha!

About Me:

Never a dull moment! First of all, I am thirty-eight (38) not twenty-eight (28). I am 6' 1" tall and about 185 lbs. I have dark brown hair, olive skin, and hazel eyes that change colors. I maintain myself in-shape. I have an athletic/muscular build. I am extremely easygoing, passionate, compassionate, a hard worker, and I am very family oriented. I am not, nor do I tolerate those that are full of themselves, mean, rude, or just plain ugly on the inside.(if any of these describe you, please do not waste either of our time) I could best be described as complicatedly simple, or simply complicated. Ha ha ha!

I recently wrote as part of a response to someone, "I am far from perfect, but I put forth my very best effort in everything that I do and I take every opportunity to be the best person that I can be, everyday.(even when I do not feel like it)" I think that this statement best represents the type of person that I am and strive to be.

I went to Australia for one single day for a friend's birthday. This is a good example of the crazy things that I am apt to do. Over 48 hours in a plane, for a 24 hour stay.

I translate for an attorney buddy of mine (for free) on the weekends and he called me a, "Mensch" the other day. At first I thought he was teasing me and this was a derogatory term, until I looked it up.

"Mensch (Yiddish: מענטש mentsh, from German: Mensch "human being") means "a person of integrity and honor."[1] The opposite of a "mensch" is an "unmensch" (meaning: an utterly unlikeable or unfriendly person). According to Leo Rosten, the Yiddish maven and author of The Joys of Yiddish, "mensch" is "someone to admire and emulate, someone of noble character. The key to being 'a real mensch' is nothing less than character, rectitude, dignity, a sense of what is right, responsible, decorous."[2] The term is used as a high compliment, expressing the rarity and value of that individual's qualities.
In Yiddish, mensch roughly means "a good person." Although the word has migrated as a loanword into American English, the word is in fact a reborrowing from the native Middle English word, "menske," meaning "A person of integrity and honor." [3]
A mensch is a particularly good person, like "a stand-up guy", a person with the qualities one would hope for in a dear friend or trusted colleague. Mentschlekhkeyt (Yiddish מענטשלעכקייט, German Menschlichkeit) are the properties which make one a mensch."

"Mensch (מענטש) a Yiddish word that means "a person of integrity." A mensch is someone who is responsible, has a sense of right and wrong and is the sort of person other people look up to. In English the word has come to mean "a good guy." Menschlichkeit (מענטשלעכקייט) is a related Yiddish word used to describe the collective qualities that make someone a mensch."

My family is from Dominican Republic

and is of Lebanese descent.

My great grandparents(on both sides of my family) emigrated to the Dominican Republic in the late 1800's from Bazbina, Lebanon.

I was born in Atlanta, Georgia,

but I was raised in San Pedro de Macoris

located in the Dominican Republic. I am fluent in both English and Spanish. My father currently lives in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico.

My father is an architect, so I have been around the construction business my entire life. I currently own my own construction company and I also recently founded a non-profit that builds environmentally friendly housing for disabled veterans called Project: Welcome Home, Inc.. I absolutely LOVE what I am doing for a living!

I have an extremely poor concept of time. However, I am making a conscious effort to be more considerate of other people's time and my own. I am slowly starting to take time more seriously.

I put forth every effort to satisfy my significant other mentally, physically, and emotionally. I am willing to do whatever, whenever, wherever, and however in order to please my woman. I am an extremely sensual and sexual person.

My family owns Caramba,

a Mexican restaurant in Atlanta. (formerly Caramba Café, that was located on N. Highland for 22 years. Caramba is now located in The Pencil Factory Lofts at 349 Decatur St.) Needless to say, I spend quite a bit of time there. If you stop by Caramba, ask for, 'Sugar'.

I spent over 9 months out of the country on a project for the people that lost their homes in Haiti. We built a fully furnished portable house that produced its own power and water. The structure was called Green Emergency Module (GEM). Here is a link(you must copy and paste link into your browser. It will not work for whatever reason if you just click on it) to pictures and a video of the structure:

I hold a US patent for an invention that I created. I named my invention the, "Highchair Nanny". My invention is designed to keep children from throwing food, drinks, toys, etc. from their high chairs onto the floor. I am currently in the process of researching various manufactures in order to have a more formal prototype made. You may see my invention at this link(you must copy and paste link into your browser. It will not work for whatever reason if you just click on it):

According to the personality test I just took, I am an Extraverted Sensing Thinking Perceiver (ESTP) Also known as, "The Promoter". Here is more information regarding ESTP-The Promoter:

"ESTP-The Promoter

You scored 73% I to E, 74% N to S, 52% F to T, and 68% J to P!

Your type is known as the promoter, because you have no trouble approaching strangers and you are so charismatic that you are good at pursuading people to do your bidding. Your type is a subgroup of the experiencers group, also called artisans. You are a person of action - when you are around, things happen. Resourceful with people is a good way to describe you. Life is never dull around you. You are witty, clever, and fun. You are socially suave and know just the right thing to say to everyone you meet. You share your personality type with 10% of the population.

As a romantic partner, you are usually exciting and willing to try anything once. You are often much more responsive to your partner's physical needs, rather than their emotional ones. You tend to communicate at what other types tend to think of as a superficial level, as you don't see a big need for heart-to-heart talks. You want to be appreciated for the fun-loving responsive problem solver you are. You are happiest when your partner respects your need for freedom to be spontaneous and to enjoy life's many pleasures.

Your group summary: Experiencers (sp)<<br />Your Type Summary: ESTP"

It states that I am Sagittarius in "My Details", but I was born on December 21st which is on the cusp of Sagittarius and Capricorn. If you would like to know more; this is a link(you must copy and paste link into your browser. It will not work for whatever reason if you just click on it) to my Natal Chart Report:

Politically, I would be a considered a Libertarian.

"Libertarianism is the view that each person has the right to live their life in any way they choose so long as they respect the equal rights of others. Libertarians defend each person's right to life, liberty, and property-rights that people have naturally, before governments are created. In the libertarian view, all human relationships should be voluntary; the only actions that should be forbidden by law are those that involve the initiation of force against those who have not themselves used force-actions like murder, rape, robbery, kidnapping, and fraud."

I do not believe that Democrats nor Republicans hold the solution to our country's problems, or successes for that matter. Our country requires change, real change, not Obama change. Which as we have all seen, is a very disappointing example of, more of the same political bullshit. Our political system needs an entire overhaul, from congress to the local level.

Religiously, I would be considered a Theist.(not to be confused with being an atheist, which happens to be the complete opposite) A theist is, "one who believes in the existence of a god or gods". I am a theist because I believe in a power or something greater than myself,(I refer to this as God, for lack of a different term) moreover, I believe that organized religion is nothing more than a business regardless of the denomination. I do however, respect all religions and take from each the aspects that I find to be good that pertain to each.

What I am looking for:

I am looking for a woman that makes my life better, makes me want to be a better man, and allows me to do the same for her. A woman that allows me to take care of her and treat her like a lady, that wants to be my best friend and companion, and that takes care of herself physically.

I am looking for a woman that is intelligent, caring, fun, self confident, secure with herself, not jealous, open, at least moderately attractive, and somewhat physically fit. These are all qualities I myself exhibit; therefore, I feel that it is reasonable to ask for these in a partner.

I manage to stay in shape, so it is only fair that my significant other do the same. I have come to the conclusion that I am looking for a woman that on a scale from 1 to 10 is an 8 or above.

If the, "What I am looking for" section describes you, I would definitely like to hear from you. If this does not describe you, I am always open to meeting new people, so feel fee to drop me a line as well.

I know that this is a dating site and not a site that is designed to ask for help, but I figured it was worth a shot.

**PLEASE HELP!!! My neighbor's dogs were left in their back yard as they went to the grocery store and apparently were taken by an 'Angels Among Us' pet rescue volunteer. (Beethoven a St. Bernard and Catti a Chihuahua/Terrier Mix) We found 'Angels Among Us' selling the dogs on eBay Classifieds. (screenshots of the ads can be seen at the link below) Even after contacting them and sending pictures and the vet records for the dogs, they refuse to return the dogs to their rightful and legal owner. Please contact LuAnn Farrell (co-founder of Angels Among Us) and ask her why she is keeping these dogs from a family that loves them and wants them returned.

I happen to agree, so I decided to put it in my profile. Thank you C for allowing me to do so.

January 5, 2012-On top of all of the craziness that I was already dealing with here in Dominican Republic, I was awakened by the violent thrashing of the magnitude 5.3 earthquake at around 5:30 this morning 30 miles from Santo Domingo where I am staying.

Awarded Dec 1

“This man is one of my favorite people ever... In addition to being good-looking, intelligent, and hilarious, he is the absolute best lover ever. You are either thinking: 'yeah, right...' 'what an inappropriate statement.' or 'do tell...' Well, I will admit, it is a bit inappropriate but come on... We all go through the same thought process when meeting someone new... sure he's cool but can he GET DOWN?! And I am willing to bet that 9 out of 10 cannot. Therefore, I figured I would offer some inside knowledge to take some of the guesswork out of this one! This gentleman is a very sensual, skilled, well endowed individual with unsurpassed stamina. He is wonderfully open-minded and extremely attentive to a woman's needs. He is more than capable of handling multiple women at one time, which is definitely not something most men would be able to do. If you are in need of a mind-blowing experience and are frustrated by the short-comings of the general male population, you should give this guy a try! You can thank me later... ;-)

November 30, 2011-I now have the Patent Pending 13307356 for my, "Highchair Nanny" invention! Time to start peddling my wares. Ha, ha, ha! (and no, I do not have children. Ha ha ha!)

June 17, 2011-I drove out to Winder, Ga. this afternoon to pick up the last of the parts that I needed to put my motorcycle back together. Tomorrow I should have my motorcycle back on the road. I CANNOT WAIT!!! Anyone want to go for a ride?

June 2011-I am SO excited! The police recovered my motorcycle. I will be able to ride it again as soon as I get some parts that I am missing. I cannot wait! Very little compares to the feeling of doing 150+mph down the highway! Ha, ha, ha!

December 2010-I am back from my, "building housing for Haiti" misadventure. I use the word misadventure because after building a prototype, (which can be seen if you search for Green Emergency Module on Facebook) meeting with Haitian President René Préval, and being in Dominican Republic for over 9 months, we resolved absolutely nothing. The Red Cross and other so-called relief organizations have not given the Haitian government a dime for reconstruction. They have only provided limited food and water for these people. It is absolutely disheartening. Such is life.
What I’m doing with my life
is living it to the fullest. I recently founded Project: Welcome Home, Inc., a non-profit that provides disabled and homeless veterans with environmentally friendly, energy efficient, hi-tech housing specifically designed to address their needs, while providing an overall environment conducive to dignity and independence.

In addition to building housing for these veterans, we are creating jobs for veterans and assisting them in the process of reintegrating back into society as well. These facilities are to be built by veterans, for veterans. Veteran owned businesses shall be the preferred vendors and contractors. Volunteers will also assit in the construction of these facilities.

Our purpose is to build small apartment buildings for disabled veterans and their caregivers. Each building would be four (4) stories tall and are equipped with both stairs and an elevator, they also have a covered handicapped parking area that accommodates six (6) transport vehicles (one per unit).

(see the Exterior Elevations on our website or Facebook page)

The first floor would be off the ground in order to provide additional security and peace of mind to some of those that suffer from PTSD. The only means of entry into the building shall be via the elevator or stairs, which both require a key fob in order to gain access. This first floor also acts as a covered carport.

These buildings would be built with energy efficient building materials that are thermally and acoustically insulating, fire proof, bullet proof, and hurricane and earthquake resistant (videos of the material are on our website and Facebook page); equipped with solar panels to produce clean energy, solar hot water heaters to produce hot water, a two (2) compartment cistern for storing and repurposing rainwater and for storing and repurposing grey water, a machine that produces water from the humidity of the air, etc.

(see the Floor Plan on our website or Facebook page)

Each of the upper floors has two (2) units side-by-side. Each unit is a 1250 square foot two (2) bedroom, two (2) bath unit with kitchen, dining room, living room, and an office/physical therapy area in an open floor plan. All aspects of these units meet and/or exceed the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

These buildings meet and/or exceed the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) by offering wide door openings, all required grab bars, all required clearances, an open floor plan, voice and motion activated automation (i.e. motorized doors, windows, blinds, lights, television, radio, phone, etc.), adjustable height countertops and wall cabinets, under counter refrigerator, freezer, microwave, washer and dryer; voice and visual intercom system, a lift in the bathroom in order to facilitate utilizing the toilet and entering the tub, toilets with built-in bidet and drying features, a hydrotherapy tub, an adjustable bed, a full set of physical therapy equipment, etc.

All of these systems will enable disabled veterans to live free from monthly power and water bills. This will also enable them to have the freedom from depending on a caretaker for menial tasks (that many of us take for granted until you no longer may perform them on your own) such as: accessing things in the refrigerator, freezer, or microwave, accessing things on the countertops and in cabinets, opening and closing doors, opening and closing windows, opening and closing the blinds, turning on and off lights, controlling the radio, controlling the television. It will also enable disabled veterans to conduct their physical therapy in the privacy of their own homes.

*The way that we have structured our bylaws here at Project: Welcome Home, 100% of all donations and grant monies go toward the construction of housing. Absolutely no overhead or salaries are paid from donations or grant monies obtained (unless designated for such use by the donor or grantor). Overhead and salaries are paid out of revenues produced by these buildings in the form of a monthly rent.

I’m really good at
many things. Ha ha ha! If I am not really good at something, I work at it until I am really good at it. I do not enjoy doing things that I am not really good at. However, if I had to pick one thing that I am really good at, it would be helping others. (I am still getting the hang of helping myself)
The first things people usually notice about me
are that I have kind eyes, I am a good person, and that I am an old soul. (these were the things that people that know me said they noticed about me when they first met me)

I will have to ask you the question, "What are the first things you noticed about me?" when we meet. Ha ha ha!
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I do not have a favorite book, movie, type of music, or food. (or color for that matter) I guess I am just an equal opportunist, or just open for whatever. I enjoy just about everything. However, I do have books, movies, music, and foods that I have enjoyed more than others that deserve mentioning.

For instance I truly enjoyed reading, "The Alchemist" written by Paulo Coelho and, "The Four Agreements" written by Don Miguel Ruiz, because they are, “inspirational”. I enjoy reading non-fiction or, “inspirational” fiction.

A movie that I do not get tired of watching over and over again is, "Up". I have always desired a relationship similar to the one between Ellie and Carl. I want a significant other that will be by my side through the good times and the bad.

As far as music goes I listen to just about everything, from classical to rap and everything in between, with the exception of most contemporary country. My choice of music depends on what I am doing and/or my mood. I spend most of my day listening to NPR, for the music and information; this way I can deal with my co-workers and other drivers calmly. Ha, ha, ha!

This brings us to food. I will eat just about anything, whether I like it or not. (when you grow up in a relatively poor country where there are people dying of hunger you tend to, or should, adopt this concept) However, I could more than happily eat steak, sushi (especially tuna), pizza, or Mexican food every day.
Six things I could never do without
are listed in Malinowski's Theory of Needs. According to Malinowski, there are fourteen "things I could never do without".

Below is a list based on Malinowski's Theory of Needs Chart:

Basic Needs

1. Metabolism
2. Reproduction
3. Bodily Comforts
4. Safety
5. Movement
6. Growth
7. Health

Cultural Responses

1. Commissariat
2. Kinship
3. Shelter
4. Protection
5. Activities
6. Training
7. Hygiene

I spend a lot of time thinking about
random things that relate to whatever it is that I am doing at the time or things that I need to do.

However, lately I have spent a lot of time thinking about the ineptitude of the American populous as a whole. "We the Sheeple" as I commonly refer to Americans in general, baffle me with our inability to act. We are very quick to march or do some other absolutely useless acts, yet when it comes down to it, "We the Sheeple" lack the testicular/ovular fortitude to actually get anything done.

I recently received an image of men marching wearing women's high heels holding a banner that stated, "WALK A MILE IN HER SHOES Men's March to Stop Rape, Sexual Assault, and Violence".

In response to this I wrote, "Instead of having an absolutely useless march. Why not get together and sign a petition to have men convicted of rape and/or sexual assault castrated. This WOULD in fact deter most men from raping women. "We the Sheeple" need to stop supporting useless bullshit like this and actually focus on correcting the problems we face, not just advertise them!"

(I am not talking about chemical castration, I am talking about good old-fashioned, "cutting a man's junk off" castration. Chemical castration is not a deterrent, but cutting a man's junk off will make a man think twice before committing a sexual crime against a woman. Hell, just the mere thought of that being the penalty will keep most rapists from raping and/or sexually assaulting women)
On a typical Friday night I am
working, at home cooking or watching tv, out to eat or grabbing a couple of drinks, hanging out with friends or family, or just out riding my motorcycle. It just depends on what my options are that evening.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
is anything and everything. I am willing to disclose even the most private things; the only catch is that you have to ask. I feel that this is only fair. If you are confident enough to ask, I am confident enough to answer.
You should message me if
you are interested, you enjoyed what you read and would like to know more, or are simply a good woman looking for a good man.

*I have been wasting a lot of time lately responding to messages and corresponding back and forth that ultimately does not go anywhere. If you are not interested, just say so. You are not going to hurt my feelings, and I have other things that I would rather waste my time on if that is in fact the case. I am interested in meeting someone, not finding a pen-pal. Although if it is established up front, I may not be opposed to the idea of having a pen-pal. I would just like to know where I stand from the beginning.
The two of us
