My self-summary
Just to be honest/up front, I'm in a committed open relationship and I'm not looking for "just a hook up." Ideally I'm looking for someone who I can hang out with, have fun going to bars, or motorcycle rides, or whatever else we'll find that we enjoy together, including the "other stuff". People tend to forget the "friends" part of "friends with benefits", I don't.

So, what do I bring to the table? Well, to take that literally, cooking is a big thing for me. The best Cuban food in NYC happens in my kitchen, but so do many other cuisines. What's your favorite?

I also ride a motorcycle and am particularly passionate about it. Upstate mountain escapes are fairly common for me!

I'm a computer geek (Linux), working in the field, and have a thing for nerdy girls of any stripe. Whether it's compiling software from source code, or geeking out about which Cylon skin-job is your favorite, you're already up several points in my book.

I also DJ. I used to spin at clubs around town, but these days am mostly doing burlesque shows. I'm into, in no particular order, rockabilly, surf, punk, goth, industrial, old-school country, old-school mambo, hip-hop, and more, just ask.
What I’m doing with my life
I started an IT services company. I love doing what I enjoy, and being in control of the company and where we go makes it extra exciting (and scary). NY is a great place for tech, so there's a huge variety in the projects I get involved in.

DJing mostly for fun.
I’m really good at
See above. I am good at everything I'm passionate about. Not sure which is the chicken and which is the egg.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I'd left this blank for so long because it's hard to get a good cross-section of what I'm into.

Books: It's been so long since I had time to read a book, too much work, too much life. But the first books that come to mind are The Three Musketeers, The Road to Wellville, Snow Crash, Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas (Anything by HST, really), The House of Sand and Fog. These days it's mostly tech manuals.

Movies: I love old school horror films, Like Romero and Argento. I can get into a good modern horror as well. I like comedies, anything WIll Farrell, Danny McBride, etc. Older stuff like the early Zucker movies. Korean revenge movies are also high on my list.

Shows: Breaking Bad, Banshee, Battlestar Galactica, Lost (until the final season), Portlandia, Southpark. And also, I can at any time turn on a Law & Order marathon and spend hours stupefied.

Music: I guess I covered this above in the DJ section.

Food: Anything edible. Seriously, the list of things I don't eat is short. I tend to eat healthier these days to try to take care of myself. This usually means cooking a lot, but I enjoy that. But the occasional splurge on a pizza or fried chicken is just as healthy.
The six things I could never do without
Everything I write here seems trivial. I guess I would say my brain and my health, and anything else I can improvise. (I'm very resourceful like that.)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How I can fix whatever's wrong at any given time. I'm not a complainer, I'm a fixer.
On a typical Friday night I am
Either to exhausted from the work week to do anything but stay home and be passively entertained, or forcing a second wind and going to a bar or restaurant (or both), or working the occasional gig.
You should message me if
You're open minded, adventurous, smart and witty. If you have your head together. You understand and are ok with the open relationship thing. You can hold up a conversation about anything. You know, fun stuff!
