My self-summary
I'm still figuring out how to navigate the "real world" post college. I'm saving up for grad school and at the moment I'm trying to choose between studying theatre or sex ed. So obviously I'm planning for a very lucrative future.
I watch too many movies, and I will watch almost anything.
I wake up early to play video games before work.
I almost always have coffee on my mind or in my hand, and I'm in the process of reading a million different books.
What I’m doing with my life
At the moment I'm a retail zombie.
I’m really good at
I'm pretty proud of my photography. I'm by no means a professional, but I studied photography for two years so it's definitely a passion of mine. I love singing and I'm not terrible. I guess if I want to go into the musical theatre business I should probably start singing in front of people. Unless someone creates a show/series about singing in the car, then I'm golden. Oh, and not to brag, but I have been told I bake the world's best brownie.
The first things people usually notice about me
According to my friends it's my eyes or my ridiculous curls. I apparently also have a pretty distinct's loud.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
The Green Mile, Cell, the Harry Potter Series, The Dresden Files, Divergent, Full Frontal Feminism, Simon R Green's Nightside series, the first few Anita Blake books (the series got weird very quickly unfortunately), The Hunger Games, the Series of Unfortunate Events, Peter Pan, A Wrinkle in Time, Treasure Island, The Hobbit (My first tattoo was inspired by this book. It has a very special place in my heart.), Lord of the Rings, How to Survive a Horror Movie, The Scott Pilgram Series. Chuck Palahniuk and David Sedaris are pretty great too.
There are a lot more but I can't think of them right now.

I love movies. I'm a big fan of horror movies and almost anything by Tarantino. I obviously can't list all of my favorites but I thought I'd list a few.
Lord of the Rings Trilogy
Mad Max: Fury Road
Kill Bill 1 & 2
Empire Records
Can't Hardly Wait
Celeste & Jesse Forever
Anything by Miyazaki/Studio Ghibli (Totoro,Howl's Moving Castle, etc.)
Short Term 12
Obvious Child
28 Days Later
Stand By Me
Whip It!
Julie & Julia

The shows I could watch forever without getting bored are Veronica Mars and Firefly.
Other favorites are (in no particular order) The Walking Dead, Hannibal, Star Trek, Leverage, M*A*S*H, Buffy The Vampire Slayer/Angel, Sherlock, Six Feet Under, Dead Like Me, and Castle. I also absolutely adored the version of Treasure Island Eddie Izzard just did. It was wonderful.

Eddie Izzard makes my soul happy and has been one of my favorite comedians for ages. A friend of mine is a huge fan of stand up comedy and I've started listening to more stand up specials and podcasts while I work. If you have any suggestions for comedians please send them my way!
The six things I could never do without
1) Books
2) Theatre
3) My family
4)Good Coffee
5) A Camera
6) Good movies
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Like most people a lot of my time is spent freaking out about the future. Another common thought is "who do I have to screw/kill to get a cup of coffee!?"

Also feminism.
On a typical Friday night I am
It just depends on the Friday. Sometimes I'm out with friends. Sometimes I'm in pajama pants and curled up watching a movie.
You should message me if
You see in anything that piques your interest.
I'm always down for a good conversation or a book/movie/show recommendation.
Just keep it classy and I'll get back to you.
