My self-summary
I guess I could tell you that I'm laid back and that I love having a good time, but as great as that all sounds, it doesn't really say much about a person. Everyone likes to have fun - but what's fun to you is probably wildly different from what's fun to me.

Most of my habits are solitary. I enjoy reading and people watching, trying the occasional new restaurant or just wandering around whatever city I happen to be in. I'm a slow walker and a slow eater; I like to enjoy stuff. I play a moderate amount of video games and watch very little television, but I'm open to sharing my introverted bubble with the right kind of person or people.

2015 was my character development year, which means 2016 is strictly action and story progression from here on out.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm going to school for computer science and networking. I'm a recent transplant from the east coast, so in my free time I'm exploring the downtown area to the best of my ability, and/or sussing out inexpensive, relatively healthy places to eat.
I’m really good at
Listening. Remembering little details. Giving useful advice. I'm well-spoken and have a big vocabulary, but I'm not all pretentious about it.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
books
Anything by Haruki Murakami, H.P. Lovecraft, or Kurt Vonnegut. House of Leaves, the Hellblazer series, and Marvel's original run of Excalibur are good too, but I haven't picked them up in a while. I'm enjoying Saga as well as The Wicked + The Divine right now, while mourning the loss of Fraction's Hawkeye.

movies
My favorite films are Blade Runner and the Fifth Element. I like the original Star Wars trilogy, and refuse to believe episodes 1-3 ever existed. (Sort of like the Matrix - wouldn't it be awful if they made a bunch of crappy sequels for that movie, too?)

shows
I don't watch a lot of television. But Dirty Jobs is a good show, and I enjoy MasterChef, the Legend of Korra, Girl Code, Steven Universe, Adventure Time, and The Soup as well. I don't have HBO/Showtime/etc, so I'm pretty far behind on Game of Thrones and House of Cards, but one day I'll catch up.

music
More or less everything, rap and country included.

food
Generally speaking, East/Southeast Asian food is my jam. I don't mean Asian food as in "Chinese takeout and sushi" - I mean the weird shit you find on dim sum carts and little hole in the wall pho joints.
The six things I could never do without
My glasses and a good bra. I guess everything else is secondary.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The inevitable heat death of the universe.
On a typical Friday night I am
Typically, singing to my cat and eating yogurt. Playing Overwatch. Thinking about Saturday brunch, or dim sum.

Ideally, spending at least a little bit of the weekend with other real humans in that new MMO called "Life." Maybe with you.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm really good at remembering song lyrics and birthdays. I slay karaoke, but I need to be a little drunk first.
You should message me if
You want to. Isn't that the point of this website?
