My self-summary
I worked with computers (just retired!), but I'm definitely not a geek. I like to play and teach the fiddle. I like most animals. I'm active--I play tennis and golf (the Zen way--no need to keep score--in golf at least). I'm also hooked on the NYT puzzles (in ink).

I am soulful, funny and active, and often wonder about the meaning of life.
What I’m doing with my life
Now that I'm 64 and recently retired, I'm still trying to figure out what to do with my life...I enjoy the company of my 25 year old son, friends, workmates, neighbors..I just want to live each day as fully as I can and not be too worried about tomorrow....or the next day....or the next.......
I’m really good at
Conversation, cooking, keeping fit, being silly...
The first things people usually notice about me
My slightly offbeat sense of humor.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
The Snow Leopard, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid.
Mississippi John Hurt, Joni Mitchell, Chieftains, Leonard Cohen, McGarrigle Sisters, Townes Van Zandt, Martin Hayes.
Homemade chow mein, homemade cheese potato soup, almost any chocolate bar.
The six things I could never do without
My son, games (golf, tennis, jogging), feeding the birds, connecting with my friends and workmates, fiddle, chocolate and NYT crosswords.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The meaning of life.
On a typical Friday night I am
Surfing the net, playing the fiddle, out with friends.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I eat chocolate almost every day..
