My self-summary
PLEASE NOTE: I am not dating right now but am leaving my profile active so people can access my information from my partner's profile.

Standard Disclaimer:

I am in a long-term polyamorous relationship. I am glad to answer any and all questions about polyamory, committed open relationships, etc. Bascially, our relationship is based on honesty, openness, and communication.

I strongly believe that love knows no social boundaries.

Please don't mistake "availability" as an open invitation for one-night stands or extremely casual sex. That's just not my bag, baby.

Couples searching for a third: I understand your search, and wish you both all the best, but I'm not the lady for you. Thank you for not contacting me.

Now that THAT discussion is out of the way, perhaps a little bit about me is in order. I am energetic, athletic, and curious. I enjoy exploring new cities and towns, but, beware, I fawn over plants everywhere I go! I just can't help myself!

I'm a complete and total nerd who loves the outdoors, gives a shit about the environment, lives a mostly healthy lifestyle, and has a fuckload of fun :)
What I’m doing with my life
I am a landscape architect. A few years ago, I met a friend who introduced me to the world of landscape architecture. And I fell in love with the profession immediately. Landscape architecture combines my scientific curiosity with my artistic passions, a perfect blend of the things that make my heart sing.

And no, I don't want to mow your lawn. I also do not know why your trees and shrubs are dying; unfortunately I am not a horticulturalist.

Beyond my professional life, I am constantly looking for new challenges. I love hiking and backpacking, kayaking and rafting. Want to go skydiving? I'm in! Rock climbing? I'd love to learn!
I’m really good at
Finding new ways to get from point A to point B. Avoiding parallel parking at all costs. Kicking ass in the kitchen.

I love exploring artistic endeavors: vector illustrations, anything involving hand drawn pen illustrations, 3D architecture modelling, processing, sitting in the park and constructing sculpture out of found objects . . . just having fun wherever we find ourselves.
The first things people usually notice about me
Oddly, that I look like the girl next door. It tends to be a bit of a shock that I'm much more . . . a pleasant shock, that is :)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
(This is by no means an exhaustive list)

I'll Give You the Sun. Catch 22. Girl with a Dragon Tattoo series. Anything by Jasper Fforde. Sex at Dawn. Crime and Punishment. The Count of Monte Cristo. Fight Club.

I read voraciously in most genres. Most of my current selections are either in garden design or fiction (there are some fantastic young adult selections too)

Casablanca. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. Hitch. Die Hard. Girl with a Dragon Tattoo series (Swedish version please). The Princess Bride.

Dexter. Mad Men. Lost (worst. ending. ever) 24. Psych. Cheers. Anything on Netflix that peaks my fancy . . . don't regularly watch anything really.

Anything, seriously. The spicier, the better. Wine (yes, please!). Small-batch roasted coffee (I'm seriously swooning ... and I started swooning before the hipsters took over the world)

The Gaslight Anthem. Alkaline Trio, Florence and the Machine. Bouncing Souls. Social Distortion. Caitlin Rose. John Lennon. Cyndi Lauper. The Indigo Girls.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How pedestrian-friendly towns are fabulous. The design for my next tattoo. Rad plants.
On a typical Friday night I am
Time is usually an issue with me . . . between work and family, I only have a limited amount of availability. Start with the whole communication thing, and, if that goes rather well, perhaps a cup of coffee or a drink is in order.
You should message me if
you have something intelligent to say.

Just do it. Double dog dare you.**

** in hindsight, perhaps this wasn't the best thing to put in my profile. How about we go with the intelligence thing, mmm-kay?
