My self-summary
Okay, if you're going to contact me with a one word or single sentence answer of "Hey..." or its equivalent, you're not getting a serious response back. To quote Dead Poet's Society, "Language was invented for one reason, boys - to woo women - and, in that endeavor, laziness will not do." Thank you.

I'm a professional working artist and writer. I have a degree in comic books and am working in television and film production with stand up on weekends. Someone with ambition and a sense of humor I found most attractive. I'm a big sci fi fan (it's true). I enjoy playing console, I don't play as many games as are available. I try to pick and choose what I play.
What I’m doing with my life
I am the Owner and Art Director of my own company and have had a few television, book, and film credits to my name on the side of production. Currently, painting commissions, drawing storyboards professionally, character design, and writing screenplays.
I’m really good at
I...can...draw...well? Is that bragging?

I do my best to make people laugh around me. That's why I do stand up...

I've been told I'm good at other things, but let's keep it PG-13, folks.
The first things people usually notice about me
Talkative. It's true.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
My favorite movie is Trainspotting. I feel it's beautifully edited and written despite the subject matter. I do love movies, though I loath chick-flick romance comedies. blech. And anyone who doesn't love both/either/or the Reanimator films or Big Trouble In Little China is a daisy sniffing little girl. Favorite animated show is Freakazoid! which was brilliantly written, clever, and whimsical without going too over the top. I miss shows that were canceled prematurely like Strange Luck and Firefly. I loved The Simpsons during the Brad Bird and Conan O'Brien Years, but felt it kind of fell apart when Richard Raynis took over as executive producer (which was during the "The Simpsons are going to *blank*" years). I eat almost anything and love the music of Jonathan Coulton, Rockapella (you heard me), Tom Lehrer, The Beatles, and classical music like Mozart, and Beethoven. My favorite novel of all time is Alfred Bester's The Stars My Destination. Alfie is my favorite author of all time.
Six things I could never do without
Books (which umbrellas over things like my eyes, the ability to read and see, the time to read, a space to keep the books, etc.), Air, Water, Fire, Laughter, and Music.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
My company, website, and career. Stories I'm writing and projects I'm working on. I write a lot down in sketchbooks and notebooks. It takes time to make something. The fallacies of string theory, the cosmological constants and their interplay on each other... History and what it would be like to ride a dinosaur... think about it... I rode an Ostrich once so I think I kind of get an idea of what it would be like, but still; A DINOSAUR.... rawr...
On a typical Friday night I am
Usually drawing or watching a movie at home. Sometimes I read. Playing video games. Wow, my Friday's are boring...
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I had a secret young girl crush on Dexter Douglas from Freakazoid!. Hey, I was young once... We all have our head-shaking moments.
You should message me if
If you'd like to hang out.
