My self-summary
I'm happier than at any other point in life. I love being in the city and having so much stuff in walking distance. I may never get another car again and think that is awesome.
What I’m doing with my life
Making progress on theviolin. I love it, love playing but don't have enough time to practice. Stupid work and chores, life get in the way. Because I live in an awesome, but still an apartment building, don't practice past nine.
I'm a big fan of bike share! It such a cool service and is a great option for exploring the city or getting home from work.
I’m really good at
Making mixed cd's ( I know, I know its primitive)
Deadpan, off the wall punchlines
being a rebel, doing what I want.
tech stuff
finding the silver lining in most situations.
Being diplomatic in stressful situations.
The first things people usually notice about me
They don't, cause I have mad ninja skills BAMF! Um, really this is a silly question. I have no idea what people notice first about me?

If your reading this now could you tell me what you first noticed? hmm maybe that's cheating? IF you say typos please be nice enough to let me what they are so I can correct them.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I'm adding podcast because I listen to a lot of them and they are awesome!

Savage love - it's a funny, informative and sweet, pro sex, sex advice show. Much like his column it promotes being GGG(Good, giving and game)

Star talk radio - astronomy is cool!

Casuistic soda - funny and informative. A couple of guys pick a topic, often gross, do some research and talk about it.
many more but have grown board of making this list.

Authors I've read most if not all and enjoyed
Mary Roach, Kurt Vonnegut, Augusten Burroughs, David Sedaris, CD Payne, Victor gischler
Richard Dawkins, Carl Sagan,Christopher Moore, Douglas Adams, Barry Eisler,

Movies: the newer batman's, oh brother where art thou, most the Coen brothers movies, fight club, breakfast club. Bah, I'm bored trying to think of all the ones I like. Possibly to be continued...

Music: Voltaire,The Raconteurs, portugal the man Fitz and the tantrums, paganini, grouplove, Gogol bordello, caravan palace,Alt- J,Amanda Palmer Modest Mouse, Tool, Radiohead, alabama shakes Muse, the bastard fairies, the pixies, Gorillaz, the vaccines and many many more.

Food: I've been on a vegetarian kick but like all types of food. I may not be super stocked about mushrooms or certain foods, can find something yummy in every type of food.

TV: shows abut food, pushing daises, always sunny in Philadelphia, game of thrones, Castle, true blood, 30 rock, waking dead, parks and rec, breaking bad, community, Dexter , homeland, boardwalk empire and more I can't think of right now.
Six things I could never do without
The internet/phone
ability to recognise and laugh at the absurd
comfy shoes
my bed it's new and so, so super comfy.
smart trip card/ public transportation
I spend a lot of time thinking about
life, politics, science, new things to bake, if I could survive in whatever mystery/crime novel I'm reading. Why I just baked a dark chocolate chip pound cake and if I'm really going to eat it all by myself? Are there healthier things to bake that still smell good when they come out of the oven?
On a typical Friday night I am
Out at a local happy hour or just staying in. It depends on what the week was like and what I'm doing over the weekend. Typically I don't have super later Friday nights. Saturday is more likely to be the night I go out.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
One of my guilty pleasures is watching Washington Journal on C-span. It’s a serous political talk show but it has live call in’s . The split between normally really smart guest to crazy call in is very entertaining and sometimes freighting. It’s a great exercise if you like spotting logical fallacies. Other than that I'm pretty open. Ask me anything.
You should message me if
You want to. I enjoy meeting all kinds of people, even if we don't end up making out. Let's have a laugh or serious discussion, lets share an experience, let's do lunch. Yes I know that sounds horribly like the 80's popped up collar d-bag. But lunch is fun, and underutilized as a social event.
Many times I see profiles of people who seem cool but don't have time to write a thoughtful message. Some guys may not like forward ladies, but they are dumb and probably have bad breath. I dig it, so if you're interested say hello.
