I'd no longer be a unicorn - as I am on the right kind of drug to keep me and society safe.
I still enjoy lame humour. I am self employed at the moment, and work for home
Yeah, getting out of bed is such a chore. .
I have three novels on the go, which maybe a little ambitious. Especially as they are world building fantasy novels.
Actually working on a few Gestalt entities at the moment, and would love to talk to someone that knows Gestalt theory. Am pretty clueless on it, just picking it up from websites.... so a philosophy tutor is much needed.
Also saving so for my PGCE, English teacher has to be so much better than medico-legal, right?
Lame humour. See above.
Crosswords, got two whole clues in a cryptic puzzle in The Financial Times once upon a time.... :) But seriously like cryptic crosswords as the clue is like a story you have to decipher.
Actually came across one of the most wonderful cryptic crossword clues ever the other day, something like 'Small vessel for soldiers to enter.' 3/3. Egg cup. So it's another reason I love cryptic clues, just showcases some of the most wonderful perspectives on the world ever.
I'm also a great listener. Awful at giving advice but can listen.
Over complicating situation through over thinking ever. Try to apply chaos theory to everything. Doesn't work, just usually stand there mute, afraid to move, and crazily socially awkward.
Abstract doodles, my work-time pass time.
After I start talking to someone it is usually that I make strange faces, and flail limbs about randomly - as if I am playing the weirdest game of charades ever. Weird looks, laughs and apologise usually ensue.
I also have freakily curvy fingers. Actually hyper-mobile in all my joints. Had to see a physio once, and she assured me, my flexibility is on freakish scale.
If only I was a petite cute blonde, could have made millions.
Book:- Too hard to choose. Dark House by King is good although the Stand has to be his best.. Name of the Wind, by Rothfuss. Nueromancer by Gibson. Life of Pi. Anything by Lovecraft/Pratchett/Giamen/Melville/Gemmel/Moorcock/Asimov/Dick
Am actually doing my dissertation on Terry Pratchett.... so he gets too mentions.
Erm, Robert E Howard's Conan Shorts, The Amber Chronicles by Zealanly, Portrait of Dorian Grey, Dracula, Frankenstein. Oh Shelley, Keats, Byron, Coleridge and Wordsworth. Have to love the romantics. And Tennyson... and Yeats. Quite fond of Shakerspeare - though thats more play.....
Yeah, I read too much.
Shows:- Doctor Who, Walking Dead, Supernatural, Documentaries, Being Human, Game of Thrones, Castle, NCIS, Blake's 7, Revolution, In The Flesh. And the channel known as Dave - tis on almost constantly in my flat. :) Sucker for topical (well was once topical) panel quizzy comedy shows. Comdey shows too. Russell Howard... ect.
Music: The Postal Service, Super Furry Animals, The Manics, Tom McCrae, The Brakes, Weezer, Pavement, Beck, Bowie. Wolfmother, Airbourne, Silver Chair.
Food. My fave would be Italian or Cake. Its a hard choice. I also like indian, and chinese. Thai is okay. Tapas is also cool....... I just like food.
Dunno, a pen, a blank piece of paper.
My freedom maybe, think thats important for everyone.
Something to do.
Now its usually tea, candle, sofa and book time! I am getting soooo old.
You just want to ramble insanely on about nothing, or imaginary stuff, that has no real worth at all.
So of the bat conversations I have had, has revolved around tap dancing care bears of doom, stealing people's picnic hampers to summon their evil overlord from the nether realms.
I am just saying I am not on here on a narrow minded quest for the one and true love of my life, I am looking to chat, expand my horizons a little. Get to know people. So if you don't mind if I am not in a hurry to date you or anything. Will chat to anyone, can never have too many friends. But what will happen will happen, not forcing anything. If I find it, definitely a bonus.
You can stand the bad humour.
You need a chess/Gin Rummy partner.
If you want to tell me what fruit you be, and the reason why you would be that fruit?
