My self-summary
I believe in living my life in a way that is balanced and full.

I love working with my great team to build my company, yet I make sure that I have time to play in the SF restaurant and nightclub scene. I enjoy spending time in Vegas and faraway places.

I love going trail running, swimming, and doing Pilates/yoga to exercise my body and mind. I treasure being with friends & family, and set aside time to be just by myself - sometimes doing absolutely nothing.

I look forward to the rich variety of experiences that each new day brings.
What I’m doing with my life
For the last eight years, I’ve been building a company that helps millions of people feel love and belonging. I’m happy to say that it’s doing well.

In the future, I’d like to build science-based companies that solve really tough and important problems, such as the climate crisis, cancer, education, and longevity.

As much as I’m investing in business, I’m also investing in myself by working with a great team of coaches and trainers. I’m continually learning and growing. I am excited and curious about the future.
I’m really good at
Math. I’m also really good at creating fun, especially with co-conspirators, whether in a nightclub, at an improv class, or even at work!
The first things people usually notice about me
My crazy hair that has a life of its own
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: Born to Run, Steve Jobs, The Happiness Hypothesis

Movies: Good Will Hunting, Scarface, The Best of the Best
- all about underdogs becoming successful

Music: all types but especially electronic music like Tiesto, Avicii, Armin van Buuren, Dash Berlin, John O'Callaghan, Krewella, Knife Party, Kaskade, Paul Oakenfold, Porter Robinson

Food: I’ve always loved food–it's so delicious. I like trying all types. My current favorite SF restaurants are Quince for its delicious Californian food esp. pasta, great service yet not stuffy; Hakkasan has delicious authentic Chinese food and awesome clubby decor (none like it in SF); and La Ciccia with its delicious authentic Sardinian food–I think it’s a labor of love for the owner. - I’m a total foodie
Six things I could never do without

Connecting with other people
The opportunity to build things
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How lucky I am to be living The American Dream. I’m grateful for all the opportunities I’ve had. I like to help others achieve their dreams too.

I also think a lot about why it’s so hard for everyone to meet new people, and how we can use technology or other means to make it easier.
On a typical Friday night I am
I might be at a happy hour with co-workers, dinner with friends, a nightclub enjoying electronic music, or sleeping so I can get up early for my Saturday morning trail run.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m normally really good at math, but once while vacationing in Bali over New Years I took a cab ride after I had a few drinks. The fare was the equivalent of $7, but I made a conversion error and instead of giving the driver $8, I gave him $80! The driver exclaimed “Happy New Year!” – I thought he was just in a celebratory mood, only later did I realize I tipped him over 1,000%! Probably made his night though :)
You should message me if
You should message me if you’re adventurous, affectionate, fun-loving. You’re equally comfortable dining at Subway or French Laundry (as long as it’s delicious), partying in a fancy nightclub or spending time out in nature (as long as you’re enjoying the moment), reading the books I read at Harvard or watching reality TV (as long as you're getting entertained).
