My self-summary
I'm an old soul and a kid-at-heart. These days, I'm drawn more to authentic connection, aliveness, and beauty in all its forms. I converse easily amongst academic types but have opened up my range a lot. My humor slants offbeat and sometimes just flat-out wrong, but hey, that's often where the hint of truth lies...

In relationships, I like to be warm and goofy, as if we were slightly drunk by default. Note the 'as if'
What I’m doing with my life
I do my best to keep things interesting:
- part-time bioenergy r&d /growing my software consulting business
- playing music at gospel church, speakeasies, funk/rnb jams, reggae festivals
- salsa dancing
- lying around like a bear or dog

My master plan is to have 4 months off every year, and I'm almost there!

I'm getting into mindfulness as well, but giving up steak is not going to happen
I’m really good at
reharmonization, bizarre yet accurate analogies, touch
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Songs that saved my life: Radiohead, Joni Mitchell, James Cleveland, COGIC, Brad Mehldau, The Smiths, Schubert lieder, Beck, Stevie Wonder, Isley Bros, Erykah Badu, Jeff Buckley
