My self-summary
Born in Louisiana, but grew up in Steamboat Springs. I have travelled extensively all over the U.S., with the exception of Alaska, Hawaii and a few others. I love all animals, but I'm especially fond of the canine varieties! I probably would have gone crazy years ago if it weren't for the hilarious personalities of my pups. I always seem to just keep going with the flow and I wouldn't change a minute of my life for anything. I love the water and will one day live near the ocean...or on a sailboat. Or maybe just own land next to an ocean, with a tiny ish home in the mountains! A tree house would be awesomesauce!

I love to do almost anything the outdoors has to offer. Always striving to live life for all that is happy! For the sake of the present moments that make it worth while, with the people I love. It all goes by in a blur...just trying soak in as much as humanly possible. Always do my best to live it, accept it and own the fuck out of it!

Looking for an honest, meaningful relationship. Looking for that woman who is in search of someone to constantly be growing, encouraging and learning with one another. I have a curiosity of all things in the world around me, which normally leads to being in awe of the present moments of what is...I can't say that I have ever been left wanting because of this! My family is amazing and I love my niece's and nephew! Ready for what comes next with having someone wanting to build one of our own!
What I’m doing with my life
For the monetary side of day to day living, I am currently working as a caregiver for a 24 year old with a traumatic brain injury. It's quite a wonderful thing being able to help someone in so many little ways that adds up to them living their daily lives a bit easier. In my former life, I was a massage therapist. Always preferred to work in a rehab atmosphere, but lately it's been a lot more of friends and people they know. I have owned my own practice for the last twelve years. Other times, I have been known to play with dogs for money! So much fun when people need their pups entertained and exercised during the work day or when they are traveling out of town. I love all the different things I do..most of the time it doesn't feel like work.
I’m really good at
Climbing trees, rocks and other things, rope swings, loving mother nature and my dog. Finding more than one way to solve a problem...getting in way over my head and surviving...getting lost in strange places...LOVING WILDLY......people watching...healing and educating people with my massage therapy practice...eating steps..literally these days, getting reeeeeally good at baby steps. Patience and acceptance, as if it was all my idea in the first place! Can't change it, might as well live it!
The first things people usually notice about me
Not too sure. Walked into a bar a while back with friend's, a guy that was there playing pool at one point walked up, introduced himself to the table, chatted for a bit and at then made the statement, "I figured you were the ring leader of this bunch when you guys walked in and sat down". WHAT DOES THAT EVEN MEAN?! Don't know, but it was highly amusing! I could pretty much be comfortable talking to complete strangers at any given moment.

Or maybe just my Ginger-ness...
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
These things would be much better to talk about in person with someone. Reading right now..planet walker, just picked up the martian and I am really enjoying it! If the buddha dated and born a crime by trevor noah are in the mix as well. Some favorites that come to mind are savannah smiles, amazing grace and chuck, the last starfighter, the princess bride, flight of the navigator, american ninja, the neverending story, sixteen candles, ferris bueller's day off, elf, step brothers, the power of one and top gun. Anything with morgan freeman... I would like him to be my adopted grandpa! And there is only one show on television that I could call my favorite and that is last week tonight with john oliver.

Anything with cheese! Pizza, Indian food, Italian, Thai, and probably pancakes! As long as it is yummy and nourishing, I will probably eat it! No mushrooms though...just can't do it.
Six things I could never do without
H2o, sleepy town, cheese, compassion, grit, forgiveness and grace...hmmmm..courage, black coffee, my sense of smell, my watch and my pup...breaking rules...
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Always looking for another great spot to hang my hammock...why people do what they do because of what goes on around them, how they perceive and respond to it...where will a full tank of gas take me and can I camp and climb a tree when I get there?...will I ever jump ship to another country to live on a boat? Cinque Terre, Australia, New Zealand, Italy or Malta sound really inviting..girls with glasses and dark curly hair that smells good...maybe this year I will be awesome-er at running and skiing!!!
On a typical Friday night I am
Robbing a need of a getaway driver...camping, lazing on the couch or outside with the Leeloo Dallas, baseball games, riding my bike, patios with a good beer and good company, reading and most certainly people watching any chance I can get!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Learning how to walk again was one of the hardest things I have ever done...but the greatest challenge at the same time.
You should message me if
You like to play outside..bocce ball would be stellar..or you want to go climb something, rocks or trees or moon towers. You have lots of curly hair and it has a mind of it's own. Skiing is always a great idea! You wouldn't mind getting together for any number of different beverages in a public place with good conversations. Or maybe even you have the time and would like to get to know me.
