My self-summary
Hi, I’m Nolan!

I’m into reading, movies (good ones, or ones so bad they’re laughable), and games. Board games or video games, though board games are growing on me since I get to spend more time with my friends in person.

In social settings I can either be really quiet or talking constantly - I'm comfortable with either.

I've lived with animals my whole life, and I'm really not sure I could see myself living without a pet. Right now, I have a cat and a bearded dragon, and they're pretty great.

I’m mostly a night owl, mornings can be hard.
What I’m doing with my life
I program computers, and I like that the work is varied and keeps me on my toes.

Mostly I work from home, though I enjoy traveling when I get the chance.

I'm also trying to learn Japanese. This summer I'll be taking weekend classes in Fort Wayne.
I’m really good at
Making people laugh. Well, I try, anyway.

My job, or so I've been told.
The first things people usually notice about me
My beard I guess, and I hope my sense of humor.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
There are lots and lots of books I love. Mostly fictional and fantastical. Neil Gaiman's probably my favorite author.

I like movies and shows with strong character development. I especially appreciate British and absurdist humor

C) Try me, I'll listen to pretty much anything. Really. I've got rap, pop, country, alternative, jazz, rock and metal on my phone.

D) Love all kinds. Especially Japanese. Ramen is awesome.
Six things I could never do without
Challenges. Gotta have them to grow.
Comedy - better to laugh than to cry.
Something to read. Book, internet, magazine, whatever.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Work, where I want to vacation.
On a typical Friday night I am
It depends. I'm fine with staying in, going to a movie or play, or possibly out with friends. Maybe board gaming.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Never tell Ren Fair people you don't like Shakespeare.

Just...don't. They do not take kindly.
You should message me if
You're awesome, duh!

You're looking for a travel partner - I love going new places, but have found it's better with a friend.
