My self-summary
Always interested in meeting new people/new friends. I recently moved back to the US (after 3 years in Rome) and thought I would give this a try to see who's out there.

I am a pretty laid back person who enjoys all types of hanging out...walking around the city, sitting at a cafe, trying new restaurants (I love food…makes me smile), checking out museums, and just enjoying spending time with friends and meeting new people.

Besides exploring cities… I'm a fan equally of the beach and the mountains (surfing, hiking, camping, skiing etc). Travel is a lifelong love of mine (exploring new places and new cultures).
What I’m doing with my life
Magical trio: work/school/travel.
I’m really good at
Eating delicious food and finding cause to smile and laugh
The first things people usually notice about me
I suppose it would be my hair...especially when the wind is blowing in the wrong direction and I can momentarily look like animal from the muppets or cousin itt from the adams family.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Currently academic reading has replaced my pleasure reading, oh joy.

I like virtually all music - lame answer but true - I think there is a time and place for almost all music and I enjoy riding that vibe.

I like old and new movies of mostly any genre. I've always found that old classic movies are soothing to me.

Tv shows - Not overly inspired to watch much of what's on tv these days (enter Netflix). I have always liked history related shows/documentaries, nature type shows (sucker for various HD nature/aerial shows), and some shows to enjoy a laugh (arrested development, the office, always sunny, and parks and recreation)

Food? A little bit of everything...trying new things is always nice (mixes with my love of international travel) but also just the general food experience is great to enjoy sitting around a table with friends.
Six things I could never do without
Family and good friends
Water, I drink it all damn day
Smiles and laughter make life bearable
Tasty food puts a big smile on my face
Traveling, it's the best.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Amazed, saddened, bothered, and intrigued by the level of ignorance and intolerance in the world
On a typical Friday night I am
I am just as happy to do something low-key as I am to go out and be with friends.
